World Malaria Day 2025: Primecare Medical Center's Commitment to Malaria Elimination

On April 25, 2025, Primecare Medical Center joins the global community in observing World Malaria Day under the theme: "Malaria Ends With Us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite."
This day serves as a reminder of the collective responsibility to combat malaria through renewed commitment, innovation, and collaboration.

Our Role in the Fight Against Malaria

At Primecare Medical Center, we are dedicated to supporting Ghana's National Malaria Elimination Strategic Plan 2024–2028. This plan aims to reduce malaria incidence by 50% and malaria mortality by 90% by 2028. Key interventions include mass drug administration, preventive treatments, and scaling up malaria vaccination efforts.

Our Commitment
Enhanced Testing and Treatment:
We ensure timely diagnosis and effective treatment for all malaria cases.

Community Education: We provide information on malaria prevention, emphasizing the use of insecticide-treated nets and environmental management.

-Collaboration with Health Authorities:We work closely with the Ghana Health Service and other stakeholders to strengthen malaria control measures.

As part of Prime Care Medical Center’s corporate social responsibility, we took our Free Breast Screening Campaign and basic health checks to Faith Evangelical Complex, providing services to both students and staff.

Our team highlighted the importance of early detection and encouraged wellness within the academic community. Together, we are fostering a culture of health and awareness.

Last Wednesday, with support from the Built Africa Team, Prime Care Medical Center brought our Free Breast Screening Campaign and basic health checks to the vibrant Kaneshie Market.

Our dedicated team had the privilege of providing screenings to market women and residents, highlighting the critical importance of early detection and overall health awareness. Together, we are making strides toward healthier communities.
