🔴 WAEMU Affair: Chaos Serving French Interests?

📍 Lomé, July 11, 2025
WAEMU comprises 8 countries:
🇧🇫 Burkina Faso
🇧🇯 Benin
🇨🇮 Côte d'Ivoire
🇬🇼 Guinea-Bissau
🇲🇱 Mali
🇳🇪 Niger
🇸🇳 Senegal
🇹🇬 Togo

Burkina Faso was to hold the rotating presidency of the Council of Ministers, as provided for in Article 11 of the treaty.
But Paris vetoed the decision, echoed by Ouattara (Côte d'Ivoire) and Talon (Benin), panicked at the thought of seeing President Ibrahim Traoré initiate far-reaching, sovereignist, and pan-African reforms. 🧨 Why such panic in Paris?

Because of the CFA franc, a veritable machine for siphoning off African economies.

🔎 The figures speak for themselves:

💰 50% of the CFA zone's foreign exchange reserves are compulsorily deposited in an operating account of the French Treasury.

💼 This represents between 5,000 and 6,500 billion CFA francs each year (or 8 to 10 billion euros) that France can:
Use for its own needs
Invest in the markets
Lend to others... while African states borrow their own money, sometimes with interest.
The transport of banknotes 💴 to Africa is estimated at 75 billion CFA francs per year.

A neocolonial, opaque, and unbalanced system.

📌 In summary:
Paris finances itself at zero interest rates on the backs of Africa,
while our states remain chained to monetary servitude.

🎯 To preserve this system:

🇫🇷 France is activating its regional pawns:
Alassane Dramane Ouattara, a loyal soldier of Françafrique
Patrice Talon, a businessman tied to Western financial circuits

🟢 But Togo, the host country, refuses the diktat.
It doesn't take sides,
but it demands compliance with the texts.
No political whims, no neocolonial calculations. Just institutional legality.

✊ And the AES 🇧🇫🇲🇱🇳🇪 in all this?

The AES no longer needs to be part of a non-sovereign organization. It doesn't need the WAEMU to move forward,
But it refuses to let the masks fall into silence.

The people must know:

France continues to manipulate African institutions as if Africa lacked people of integrity.

⚖️ The AES is here to shatter this illusion.
To expose to the world a system where the law is stifled by the fear of an African awakening.

📢 It's not "IB or nothing."
It's law versus the imperial order.
It's dignity versus historical contempt.
It's time to choose: either sovereignty or servitude.

The WAEMU must serve the people.
Not the banks of Paris.
