Every mother and child in Ghana deserves a fair start, no matter the state of their bank account or their district.

Good nutrition is a fundamental right not a bonus for those who can afford it. Whether in the heart of a city or a remote village, every pregnant woman deserves access to the vitamins, minerals and education needed for a healthy pregnancy.

💭If you could change one thing about how nutrition services are delivered in your
community, what would it be?

Comment, like and share to stand with every mother in Ghana.

Donor reliance is a temporary fix for a permanent responsibility.

While donor support has played a role in our progress, the future of Ghanaian children should not depend on a foreign budget. We must ensure that our health programmes are permanent, reliable and tailored to our unique needs.

It is time to move from aid to ownership. Let us demand for sustainable health funding today💰💰!

💭Do you agree that it is time for Ghana to take full financial ownership of its nutrition programmes? Share your take with us.

Ghana cannot truly develop while children are undernourished.

A healthy child today is a productive citizen tomorrow. That’s why government and key agencies must prioritize and invest in maternal and child nutrition now.

📢 Call to Action:
Let’s fund nutrition, protect our youngest citizens, and build a stronger Ghana.

💬 What policies or actions should leaders take to end undernutrition? Share your thoughts👇🏽

Investing in maternal and child nutrition is one of the smartest financial decisions our government can make.💰💰

A well-nourished child is a future worker, innovator and leader who will not be held back by preventable illness. By increasing government funding for nutrition, there will be fewer hospital visits, better grades in school and a stronger workforce for our country's future. The nation will yield massive returns in health and productivity if it invests in early-life nutrition.📈

If you could tell the Finance Minister one reason to increase nutrition funding, what would it be? Tell us in the comments💭

Every Mother and Child Deserves a Healthy Start!

Did you know that in Ghana, nearly 1 in 5 children still faces stunted growth due to poor nutrition? Or that anaemia remains a leading threat to our mothers during childbirth?💭
From the strength of an expectant mother to the growth of a newborn, nutrition is the foundation of everything we hope to achieve.

But we cannot tackle these challenges in a vacuum. It is time to spark a conversation that leads to real change.

Today, we are officially launching our maternal and child nutrition social media campaign Nourishing Futures.

This campaign is not just about sharing information; it is about community. Whether you are a parent, a student, a caregiver or a health advocate, your perspective is the missing piece of the puzzle.

Follow along, join the discussion and let’s add our voices together for a healthier, stronger Ghana! 🇬🇭💪🏽🥗

Set goals strategically🎯

It is difficult to achieve vague intentions like "I’m going to eat healthier" because they lack clarity. To make your habits stick, you need a SMART plan.

✅ Specific – Define the exact action.
✅ Measurable – How will you track progress?
✅ Achievable – Keep it realistic for your schedule.
✅ Relevant – Ensure it aligns with your health needs.
✅ Time-bound – Set a frequency or a deadline.

Small, precise changes are the secret to long-term transformation. Success isn't about doing everything at once; it’s about doing the right things consistently.

New Week, New Momentum! 🌱

Happy Monday! It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when looking at a long-term health goal, whether you’re aiming to transform your energy, improve your labs, or change your relationship with food.

But remember: You don’t have to conquer the whole staircase today.

As Joy Bauer wisely puts it, success is found in the small, intentional choices you make every morning. This week, don't worry about being perfect—just focus on winning the next meal. 🥣✨
