Our community consists of many patient care professionals from local and national health care facilities and the vendors that support and provide for the many healthcare facilities in Ghana.

Ghana America Sterile Processing Professionals

The Central Sterile Processing Association of Ghana (GHASPSA) is a non-profit organization for the purpose of providing educational opportunities and general support to those working in the field of healthcare central sterile processing. GHASPA is also affiliated with the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) based in the United States of America located in Chicago, Illinois. The main objection of GHASPA is to ensure that all surgical instruments enrouting into the operating room or used by surgeons are sterilized properly and free of infection. We will also endeavor to provide the highest quality of educational programs, ensure effective communication, and to act as an informational resource to all sterile processing professionals to advance their career and to provide the skills which will ultimately result in the continual improvement in patientcare in Ghana.

GHASPA vision is to establish itself as the leading educational and professional organization through innovative programs that enhance and to develop sterile processing career into a true, vital and dependable profession in Ghana healthcare sector.
