From June 23rd to 25th, 2025, Ghana HIV and AIDS Network (GHANET), in partnership with National AIDS/STI Control Programme (NACP), held a 3-day impactful workshop in Koforidua. This 3-day event empowered participants with knowledge on HIV prevention, gender and human rights, and the power of social media to reach vulnerable populations (fisherfolk, head porters, and miners).

Highlights included:

βœ… Expert-led sessions on Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), Post-exposure Prophylaxis (PEP), U (Undetectable) = U (Untransmittable), and HIV self-testing (HIVST)

βœ… Deep dives into Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), stigma, discrimination & legal protections

βœ… Hands-on content creation and digital advocacy

βœ… A focused campaign strategy to amplify the voices of vulnerable groups

Together, we are shaping a future where health, dignity, and digital empowerment go hand in hand. πŸ’»β€οΈ
