π Strengthening Trauma Care Across Borders! π§π« π§π« π§π«β€οΈπ¬π
Last week marked a powerful milestone in our mission to strengthen emergency care in West Africa!
A dedicated group of doctors from Burkina Faso successfully completed the Primary Trauma Care (PTC) course at MSSI Ghana. But we didnβt stop there. These passionate professionals also underwent a Training of Trainers (ToT) and were fully equipped with resources to cascade this life-saving training back home. πΌπ
Fast forward just a few days, and theyβve already made a BIG impact!
The team, now certified instructors, led their very first 5-day PTC course, including an Instructor Course at the HΓ΄pital Militaire Halassane Coulibaly in Burkina Faso.
The course brought together a rich mix of nurses, doctors, and medical attachΓ©s, all united by one goal: improving trauma care and saving lives. πππ©Ί
The enthusiasm, dedication, and collaboration during the training were simply inspiring and a testament to what can happen when capacity building meets commitment.
We are proud to see how partnerships and knowledge-sharing can ripple outwards to strengthen health systems across our region.
Congratulations to the new PTC instructors and participants. Your work is changing lives already.
Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient healthcare future for Africa. ππ©Ίβ¨
