We are pleased to announce that our ongoing monthly webinar series has been renamed to better reflect its purpose, foster stronger engagement, collaboration and shared learning.

Formerly known either as Parents Roundtable or Public Lectures, these have now been merged as one namely: Parent–Professional Connect.

This new name highlights our commitment to:
• Creating a collaborative space for parents, caregivers, educators, professionals, and the wider community
• Encouraging open dialogue, shared learning, and evidence-based discussions
• Strengthening partnerships that support children’s development, health, and inclusion

Please note that while the name has changed, our mission remains the same: to provide practical, relevant, and professional insights that empower families and professionals supporting children.

We look forward to your continued participation and support in the Parents-Professional Connect series.

Warm regards,
Mission Pediatrics Team

Mission Pediatrics Launches Comprehensive School Screening Initiative at St. Nicholas Preparatory, Fostering Early Intervention and Support
In a significant Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Mission Pediatrics brought its multidisciplinary expertise directly to the students of St. Nicholas Preparatory Charity School on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026. The dedicated screening day underscored the organization’s commitment to community health and early childhood development, providing invaluable insights and on-the-spot support to learners.
The Mission Pediatrics team was notably joined by two distinguished specialists for the first time: Dr. Marilyn Marbell-Wilson, Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician, and Dr. Kristine Marbell-Pierre, Head of the Psychology Department. Their expertise, combined with the skills of special needs educators, behaviour analysts, speech therapists, and an occupational therapist, created a holistic assessment environment for the students.
The screening employed a battery of internationally recognized tools to create a nuanced picture of each child’s development. These included the Parents’ Evaluation of Developmental Status (PEDS), the Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers, Revised (M-CHAT-R), Bayley Scales for infant and toddler development, the Mission Pediatrics Autism Redflags Screening Tool (MPARST), and the Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ). This comprehensive approach allowed the team to assess developmental milestones, cognitive patterns, social-emotional functioning, speech and language, motor skills, and potential signs of neurodevelopmental variations.
A key and immediate observation from the screening was that a significant majority of the students presented with reading challenges. Moving beyond mere identification, the team swiftly transitioned into a supportive, educational role. The special needs educators and therapists provided practical, actionable strategies directly to the children. Students engaged in mini-workshops focusing on:
Decoding Skills: How to break down complex words into manageable syllables and sounds.
Phonics Fundamentals: Clear explanations of short and long vowel sou

A new year stands before us—clean pages, quiet hope, and bold possibilities.

We step into this season wiser than yesterday, stronger than our setbacks, and clearer about our purpose. The work continues, the calling remains, and the vision grows sharper. Progress may not always be loud, but consistency never lies.

This year, we choose growth over comfort, excellence over excuses, and impact over noise. We show up with compassion, lead with integrity, and serve with renewed strength.

Here’s to new beginnings, deeper impact, and meaningful wins—one day at a time.
Happy New Year from all of us.

Yesterday, we paused—not to slow down, but to sharpen our edge.

Our leadership training was a deliberate investment in people, purpose, and performance. We came together to reflect, to learn, and to realign—because the care we give our clients tomorrow depends on the leaders we become today.

Strong teams are not built by chance. They are shaped by vision, strengthened by accountability, and sustained by continuous growth. As we look toward 2026, we are choosing excellence on purpose—developing leaders who listen better, serve deeper, and lead with clarity and compassion.

This is how we prepare to give our very best.
This is how we raise the standard.
This is how we move forward—together.
