Doctors stay in a village for a week, working in mobile clinics to provide medical screening, medical consultations, health education and counselling.

DoctorsAct is a charitable health organisation, with an immense desire to meet the needs of the deprived through social work, health missions and interventions. DoctorsAct Ghana – Is a Non-Governmental Organization made up of young exuberant adults united by the sole aim of providing free humanitarian, social and medical services to the poor, underprivileged and deprived in society through education, empowerment and short term medical missions (STMM). We support rural doctors and health personnel through our annual Beauty In Small Deeds (BISD) Humanitarian/Medical Missions, establish innovating projects to improve the quality of life of the various communities we visit in consultation with community leaders and locally based NGOs. DoctorsAct is a Russian-based charitable health organisation, run by students and volunteers, which arranges for students and practising doctors to visit villages in various African countries, including Ghana, South Sudan and South Africa. The charity has sent teams to Ghana on two occasions to Ofoase, Eastern Region, where they work in cooperation with a local NGO, Plight of the Child. Last year, 22 Ghanaians, studying in Russia, volunteered at the clinic, along with two Russian students. DoctorsAct has no government or university support, and obtains its funding from individual donations, African embassies and religious groups in Moscow. Volunteers pay for flights between Moscow and Accra themselves.

DoctorsAct Ghana, in partnership with and the Bole District Health Directorate of the , is bringing free health screening services to the people of *Bole, Mankuma, Sakrupe, and surrounding communities in the Savannah Region.

Our mission is simple but urgent: to make quality healthcare accessible to everyone—especially in underserved communities like Bole and its environs. We need your support to reach those who need it most.

Day 2 Update from

Our mission took us to the vibrant Asempaneye community, where we attended to over 406 adults and 160 children. The day was filled with hope, care, and countless smiles. While we faced a challenge towards the end of the day—running out of lancets and medications—the overwhelming support and gratitude from the community made it all worthwhile.

Despite these hurdles, it was a hugely successful day, reaffirming our commitment to bringing essential healthcare services to those in need.

Since 2011, DoctorsAct has been committed to providing free health services to underserved communities across Africa. Over the years, we've seen countless smiles, restored health, and renewed hope. It's been an incredible journey, and I am deeply proud to have been a part of this mission.

In just two weeks, we embark on another chapter of this beautiful journey with the "Beauty in Small Deeds Project (BISD)" from July 22nd to 26th, 2024. Our dedicated team will be in the Western North Region, Ghana, bringing vital healthcare and support to Bonsu Nkwanta, Asempanaye, and Juaboso. This initiative will feature community health outreach, training on basic life support, and mentorship sessions for students.
