Informed Choice Foundation Ghana is an emerging youth led NGO which seeks to empower the youth of Africa through access to information and to create a platform that will expand opportunities and enhance the quality of life of young people. Africa has about 60% of it's population made up of the youth.For Africa to achieve it's sustainable development goals, a lot of investments must be made on the youth in the area of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Right (SRHR), Skills development and training, helping them to stay in school, investing in youth-friendly SRH services as well as provision of conducive environment to ensure growth.

On Thursday 28th September, Informed Choice Foundation Ghana with support from Informed Choice group on WhatsApp successfully organized an outreach program where they donated some learning materials to Fankyenko D/A School, a School within the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa district in the Central Region.

Aside the donation, the pupils were taken through Adolescent Reproductive Health of which the main focus was on Adolescents Developmental Growth and how they can avoid falling in the trap of teenage pregnancy.
In all, the outreach program was a successful one.

Fact: 214 million women of reproductive age in developing countries who want to avoid pregnancy are not using a modern contraceptive method.

Informed Choice Foundation Ghana will work to ensure that girls and women of child bearing age are able to access family planning information and services with ease.
