The Presbyterian Hospital at Agogo has acquired a state-of-the-art Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) machine to strengthen its Eye Clinic. The new equipment was unveiled on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, by General Manager Rev. Ezekiel Amadu Daribi.
This development follows recent upgrades—funded entirely through the hospital’s internally generated funds—including an automatic lens edger, fundus camera, AB scan, and non-contact tonometer.
According to Rev. Daribi, these investments reflect the hospital’s mission to provide holistic, technologically advanced care. The OCT machine enhances diagnostic precision for retinal and optic nerve conditions, placing the hospital among Ghana’s leading centres for eye care.
