In a poignant moment of cultural reverence and unity, Kuapa Kokoo Co-operative Farmers and Marketing Union Limited paid homage to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, following the solemn burial rites of the late Queen Mother, Nana Konadu Yiadom III. The tribute, held at the Manhyia Palace, was a powerful blend of tradition, respect, and solidarity.
Representing thousands of cocoa farmers across Ghana, Kuapa Kokoo’s delegation joined the royal court and dignitaries to honor the Asantehene’s enduring leadership during a time of mourning and reflection. Their presence underscored the cooperative’s deep-rooted connection to the Ashanti Kingdom and its cultural heritage.
“In times of sorrow and strength, we stand with the Golden Stool,” said a Kuapa Kokoo spokesperson. “Our homage is a symbol of gratitude—for guidance, for legacy, and for the future of our farmers.”

The ceremony was marked by traditional drumming, symbolic gifts, and heartfelt expressions of loyalty. It served not only as a tribute to the King but also as a reaffirmation of Kuapa Kokoo’s commitment to ethical farming, community empowerment, and cultural preservation.
As the Ashanti Kingdom transitions from grief to resilience, Kuapa Kokoo remains a steadfast pillar—cultivating cocoa, culture, and continuity.

Beyond cocoa, Kuapa Kokoo farmers are nurturing something just as rich—pure, locally-produced honey. Through sustainable beekeeping, we’re diversifying livelihoods, supporting biodiversity, and creating opportunities for our communities to thrive. Each bottle is more than honey—it's a story of nature, care, and collective resilience.

At Kuapa Kokoo, sustainability isn't just a principle—it's a promise. Through our recent tree-planting initiative, we’re taking a stand against deforestation and nurturing a greener future for our cocoa-growing communities. Every seedling in the soil is a step toward climate resilience, richer ecosystems, and long-term prosperity for our farmers and the land they cherish.
