Meet our very own Priscilla Somuah Osei, a senior staff midwife who won the best nurse/ midwife award for the Upper Denkyira West District.
Priscilla has a heart of gold and is passionate about the midwifery profession. She is committed to her work and goes the extra mile to ensure the comfort of mothers and babies. With a charming personality and an affable smile, she wins hearts and minds and it is of no surprise that out of all the nurses and midwifes in the district, she won this award.
From the very date she assumed duty as a midwife in the hospital, Priscilla has contributed in no small way to the growth of the facility. She is a member of the Quality Improvement Team and has lead numerous projects including the CRIB project aimed at preventing maternal and neonatal mortality.
