Today I introduced the tablets for the first time. For many of these kids, it was their first time ever playing on a tablet like this. I walked them
through how to use it properly and installed a control app to ensure they’re used for the right purpose. Thank you so much to everyone who donated to make this possible! Check out the games they are playing below

Today I did my first project in the class! We made stress balls out of balloons and rice for the kids. The kids with the beads were the most helpful and answered questions about mental illness correctly after class.

This was so cool for me to see and they all got so into it. Later in the day I saw a kid watching a game of volleyball and playing with his stress ball. Seeing the use of this project is so rewarding and makes me so happy to see

3 TABLETS!!! I am so thankful for all of the donations we have received up to this point! I was able to purchase 3 brand new Android 7” tablets with screen protectors, cases, and headphones for each! These tablets will be used in the orphanage to access the internet and our website to allow for educational advancement and mental health learning! Check out the new page on our website equipped to our 3 new tablets! It is filled with games to teach children about mental health and other games to stimulate learning!

Although it’s called the “kids zone” don’t be afraid to play through the games, they are very informational and helpful for all ages.

An order from Amazon is on the way! With recent donations, we were able to purchase a tablet and all the necessary resources for it for an orphanage in Bawjiase, Ghana. This tablet will have child restrictions put on it to ensure the safety and well-being of the children. The tablet will link up directly with our website so the children will be able to learn about mental health, use our website, and receive virtual therapy!

Recent donations will help the funding of the balloon stress balls! Donations will help buy balloons, flour, and funnels to make stress balls easy to make for students! Stress balls provide a resource for students to get rid of pent-up emotions such as anger, sadness, and stress.

Check out our new GoFundMe! The money raised from this will go towards providing supplies needed for schools or organizations to do art therapy or print mental health posters. Our first mission is making these art therapy resource binders! These binders contain four lesson plans (which can also be found on our website) centered around art therapy. Unfortunately, some schools in Ghana lack funding to provide these resources to their students. The binders include plenty of worksheets for two different art therapy lessons, balloons to make balloon stress balls, and one of every poster we have thus far to decorate their room with mental-health-promoting resources! We will also be working to provide any other materials needed for schools or organizations to complete the activities in the lesson plans provided!
