**THE PEOPLE OF DALIGA KUNKUA APPEALS* *FOR A CHPS COMPOUND*
*
The people of *Daliga_Kunkua* in *Bongo* , the Upper East Region of Ghana wish to passionately appeal to the The *President of Ghana,* *Ministry of Health,* *the District Assembly,* *Philanthropists* and the *general public* to come to their aid and help them get a *Health Facility* so that they can have access to quality health care.
Daliga -kunkua has a total number of *3,956* . A total number of *2011* are *females* whiles *840* are *males* . Children are *1,115* . Despite this great number, the community has no *CHPS compound* for health services in the area.
According to *Hon Anabia Solomon Asampana* , the assembly man for the area. The community needs a health facility in order to have access to health care, notably a place for their pregnant women where they can access maternal health delivery and child weighing.
He added that the people of Daliga -kunkua travel a distance of *2.5km* to access health care from a near by health centre.
*Hon Anabia* stated that due to the dying need of health services, a community member willing handed over a drinking spot for the health directorate to use as a temporary structure for the weighing services. That spot is called *Hot Base* .
Again the community has made an effort to donate *50 bags* of cement* to be used to build the weighing centre which in his candid opinion, is inadequate.
*Hon Anabia Solomon Asampana* bemoaned that last year, two women delivered on their way to receiving maternal health care. Again, during rainy season, people find it difficult accessing health care from the nearby health facilities due to poor roads.
The youth of the area who are the next generation of the community also appeal to the authorities, private organizations, and all the political parties to help them get a chps compound for quality health care in the area.
They also assured the general public that they are ever ready to do all the labour works when they get any support.
