From 29th July to 2nd August 2025, the Second Cycle of the Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) campaign will be rolled out across the district!

Health workers and community volunteers will be moving house-to-house to administer antimalarial drugs to eligible children.

Eligibility: All children aged 3 to 59 months (under 5 years).

Let’s protect our little ones from malaria this season. Kindly make your children available when the teams visit your homes.

*ENT Nurse Services Now Available at Lambussie Polyclinic*

We are pleased to inform the general public that Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) services are now available at Lambussie Polyclinic, provided by a qualified ENT Nurse.

👂👃🗣️ Our ENT nurse is trained to assess, manage, and provide care for a range of conditions related to the ears, nose, and throat, including:

Ear infections and hearing issues

Sinus problems and nasal congestion

Sore throat, hoarseness, and related concerns

Ear wax removal and ear care education

Service Days: Monday -Friday; 8am-2pm
Location: Lambussie Polyclinic Outpatient Department

I bought a ram and entrusted it to a boy to deliver to my house a day before Eid prayer. However, he mistakenly delivered it to my late neighbor's house. When the mother inquired, the boy mentioned my name.

Upon returning home, my children asked about the ram I had promised them. I told them I had sent it with a gentleman, but one of them revealed that the boy had taken it to our neighbors'. I was perplexed.

Then, I overheard the mother expressing gratitude, mentioning my late neighbor's relationship with my family. Deciding not to disrupt their plans, I chose to let them keep the ram and went to purchase another.

My family wasn't pleased, but I reassured them that Allah's blessings allowed me to afford another ram. At the market, I found a vendor with two rams. When I inquired about the price of one, he surprisingly offered it to me for free.

He explained that he had recently escaped an accident and vowed to gift the ram to someone purchasing for Eid sacrifice.

Though I'm sharing this story second-hand, it illustrates Allah's miraculous rewards.

Providing for orphans and those in need brings immense blessings. Sharing even a small act of kindness, like meat, can bring joy.

May Allah accept our sacrifices and acts of love.
