The agency provides at least one therapeutic service directly with agency employees. A second qualifying service and additional services will be provided under contract with our partner institutions. POLICY
Agency may offer the following services:
Nursing Service: evaluation, direct service, patient teaching, and/or consultation service
Physical Therapy: evaluation, direct service, exercise instruction, and/or consultation service
Occupational Therapy: evaluation, direct service, patient teaching, exercise instruction, and/or consultation service
Medical Social Service: direct services, liaison between referral centers, and/or consultation service
Nutritional Counseling: direct services provided by an RN or dietician
Home Health Aide Service: providing services that are related to personal care of patients and specific services under supervision of a registered nurse; also, providing services that are related to extension of therapy to patients under the supervision of a Registered Therapist
Medical Supplies: provision of supplies such as gauze, cotton, band-aids, surgical dressings, catheters, surgical gloves, irrigation solutions, and oxygen when ordered by the physician and considered reasonable and necessary to the plan of care
Patients and clients who need home care depending on the health needs will be assigned a care giver within the jurisdictions of current medical practice and approved health laws. This may either a doctor, physician, physician assistant, medical assistant, physiotherapist, registered nurse or midwife, student nurse, certified health care assistant. Apart from an assigned doctor, physician, physician assistant, medical assistant, physiotherapist all other care givers shall rotate when necessary. Thus there will be different persons who attend to patient or client at any period with or without patient or client been informed except in special situations. Live-in service; where the care giver shall be living with the patient or client in his or her home. We also offer school health service such as running of infirmary/sick bay. Again we do institutional and family health screening and vaccination against Hep B among others
