The Sabbath and Creation

It is because our world so desperately needs the reassuring message of Creation that God gave us the Sabbath. In the mid-1800s when the evolutionary hypothesis was taking the intellectual world by storm, God sent a message of incredible hope. We have been studying this message, found in Revelation 14:6, 7.

Satan has made every attempt to distort the idea of Creation because he hates Jesus and does not want Him to receive the worship due Him as our Creator and Redeemer. The Sabbath is at the center of the great controversy over Christ’s worthiness to receive worship as our Creator. God’s last-day message is one that calls all humanity back to worshiping Christ as the Creator of heaven and earth. The basis of all worship is the fact that He created us.

Read Genesis 2:1–3, Exodus 20:8–11, and Deuteronomy 5:12–15 in the context of Revelation 14:6, 7. How do we see in the Sabbath commandment the link between Creation and Redemption, as well?

Sabbath is an eternal symbol of our rest in Jesus. It is a special sign of loyalty to the Creator (Ezek. 20:12, 20). Rather than being an arbitrary legalistic requirement, it reveals that true rest from righteousness by works is found in Him. The Sabbath speaks of a God who has achieved for us what we could never do for ourselves.

Scripture calls us to rest in His love and care each Sabbath. Sabbath is a symbol of rest, not works; of grace, not legalism; of assurance, not condemnation; of depending upon Him, not upon ourselves. Each Sabbath, we rejoice in His goodness, and praise Him for the salvation that can be found only in Christ.

The Sabbath also is the eternal link between the perfection of Eden in the past and the glory of the new heavens and the new earth in the future (Isa. 65:17, Rev. 21:1).

The Sabbath calls us back to our roots. It’s a link to our family of origin. The Sabbath has been observed continuously since time began. It is an unbroken connection back through time to our creation. It keeps us focused on the glorious truth that we are children of God. It calls us to an intimate, close relationship with Him.

Heavens best food;the diet appointed man in the beginning did not include animal food. Not till after the flood, when every green thing on the earth had been destroyed . did man receive permission to eat flesh. In choosing man's food in Eden, the Lord showed what was the best diet;in the choice made for Israel He taught the same lesson.He brought the Israelites out of Egypt and undertook their training,that they might be a people for His own possession.through them He desired to bless and teach the world.He provided them with the food best adapted for this purpose,not flesh but manna, "the bread 🍞 of heaven." It was only because of their discontent and their murmuring for the fleshpots of Egypt that animal food was granted them, and this ONLY for a short time. It's use brought disease and death to thousands.

*His Banner over me is Love🌹💝*
Many are tempted to doubt 😔 the amazing grace🌷 & providential care☁️ of God🌈 amidst these troublous times...

The story of *Balaam👳🏼‍♂️ & Israel* (Numbers 22-24), presents a most heart-warming💝 assurance🤞🏽 of *God's everlasting care*🌫️ for His children!! Whilst Israel was fast asleep🛌🏼 under the burning lights🔥 from the divine clouds🌩️ shadowing them, *Satan🐍 was plotting* their downfall through *Balak*👑.

Sourcing the help🤝🏽 of Balaam, Balak, King👑 of *Moab (descendants of Lot, Abraham's nephew)*, tried to curse innocent Israel!! Yet, unbeknown🤷🏼‍♂️ to Israel, God was fighting⚔️ for them behind the scenes!!

Through *visions, a talking donkey🐴 & an angel👼🏻*, Jehovah told Balaam👳🏼‍♂️ about the fruitlessness🍂 of his efforts to curse⚡ Israel. As much as Balaam tried to curse⚡ Israel, he only opened his mouth to bless💐🌨️🙏🏼 them!!

Standing by 7 alters, Balaam exclaimed in a trance🗣️: *"How can I curse⚡ those whom GOD hath not cursed🤷🏼‍♂️? Or how shall I defy🗡️, whom the LORD hath not defied🤷🏼‍♂️?"*

Again Balaam prophesied🔮: *"God is not a man🚶🏽‍♂️, that He should lie🤧; neither the son of man💂🏼‍♂️, that he should repent🙄: hath he said, & shall He not do it💁🏽‍♂️?* Or hath He *spoken⚖️, & shall He not make it good🤷🏼‍♀️*? Behold, I have received *commandment to bless: & I cannot reverse it🙅🏽‍♂️*. He hath not *beheld👁️ iniquity👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩 in Jacob,* neither hath he seen *perverseness🍻 in Israel*: the LORD his God is with him🌈, & *a shout of a King🤴🏼 is among them"!!!*

Oh glorious thought💃🏽!! Oh merciful🕊️ & abundant grace🤗!!! Behold how Jehovah fights, defends🛡️ & protects His weak children🤱🏻!! Oh may *God not find iniquity🧞‍♂️ in us, may His presence🌈 & shout be among us🙏🏼!!*...Indeed, King David👳🏼‍♀️ was right when he sang🎼: *"He that dwelleth🧎🏻‍♂️ in the secret place of the most High🌈, shall abide🧎🏿‍♀️ under the shadow☔ of the Almighty🌫️"!!!* (Psalm 91:1)

Jesus reiterated this protecting care🦚 of God thus: "Behold the *fowls of the air*🦜...Consider the lillies🌷 of the field...wherefore if God so clothe the grass🌱 of the field, which today is, & tomorrow🌓 is cast into the oven🚮, shall He not much more clothe👔🧥 you, oh ye of little faith?... *But seek ye first the Kingdom of God🌈, & His righteousness🙏🏼;* & all these shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought🤔 for the morrow... *Sufficient unto the day🌗 is is evil thereof* " (Matthew 6:25-34)

Friends, where is our faith!!🤷🏼‍♂️?? As long as we walk🚶🏽‍♂️ in the counsels📖 of Jehovah🌈 & seek His righteousness🙏🏼, *Emmanuel🌈 shall be with us!!* He shall ward off our enemies🏃🏼‍♂️ & *scatter their plots*...He shall feed🥗 & clothe us👕👘!! It took the adultery💋 & idolatry🗿 of Israel with the women🧖🏻‍♀️ & gods🗿 on Moab to forfeit🥺😓 Jehovah's protection☔: *more than 20,000 died!!*

💐, may we ever remember that *"His Banner🏳️ over me (us), is Love💝"*(Song of Solomon 2:4). May we draw closer to God🌈 in prayer🧎🏻‍♂️ & Bible study📜, & His angels✨ shall grace our homes🏠 with Heavenly peace🕊️. Peace, grace🌻, & love💞 to all the saints of God .

The richest man in China said 'if you put bananas and money in front of the monkeys the monkeys will choose bananas because the monkeys don't know that money can buy a lot of bananas.
In fact, if you offer work and business to people,they will choose to work because most people don't know that a business can make more money than salary.
One of the reasons why the poor are poor is because the poor are not trained to recognize the entrepreneurial opportunity.
They spend a lot of time in school and what they learn in school is to work for a salary instead of working for themselves.
Profit is better than wages because wages can support you but profits can make a fortune.
