🇬🇭HFCH Ghana Month Celebration 2026 – Officially Launched! 🇬🇭

Holy Family Catholic Hospital, Nkawkaw, is proud to announce the official launch of our 2026 Ghana Month Celebration! 🎉

As a hospital that embodies the true Ghanaian spirit of love, service, unity, and cultural diversity, we celebrate not only our rich heritage but also the strength found in our diversity. With over 100 ethnic backgrounds represented in our nation—and reflected within our hospital family—we are reminded that our culture is our strength.

📌 Activities lined up include:

1. Wearing of cultural attire every Wednesday
2. “Time with the MCE”
3. HFCH Ghana Month Food Bazaar featuring Akan, Ewe, Northern, and Ga-Adangbe-Krobo groups
4. Local treats like sobolo, asana, pito, palm wine, agbelikaklo and more!

We encourage all staff and members of the HFCH fraternity to actively participate and support their cultural groups as we celebrate in unity and pride.

Let’s reflect on our role in building a healthier hospital, stronger communities, and a Ghana we are all proud of. 🇬🇭❤️

What an incredible way to wrap up our World Hearing Day celebration! 👂🎉

From impactful community outreaches to engaging radio health education sessions, we were able to spread the message of hearing health far and wide. The grand climax at our hospital premises brought everything together with powerful health education, enthusiastic participation, and refreshing treats to celebrate the day.

We are proud of the awareness created and the lives touched. Together, we continue to champion early detection, prevention, and better hearing for all. 💙

With funding support from Gates Foundation, World Health Organization supported Ghana to establish a new Sample Reception Centre at Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research.

The Centre will strengthen laboratory systems, enhance disease surveillance, and support timely detection of outbreaks.
