AwarenessNow Foundation embarked on an outreach to St. Charles and Tamale Girls Senior High Schools in Tamale, as part of activities to mark the climax of the Worldโ€™s Mental Health Awareness week.

Mr. Bernard Zan, a director of the Foundation in the company of Dr. Anthony Siibu and Dr. Joseph Kazussah, spoke to the students on Depression, itโ€™s causes, effects and suggested remedies.

The students and teachers from both schools agreed that the topic Depression, was timely especially as a lot of young people feel pressured to engage in relationships, unsafe s*x, illicit drugs, unhealthy social media trends, just to name a few.

They thanked the foundation for such an initiative.
