Eggs have played an important role in the lives and health of humans since time out of mind. These little goodies are packed full of protein, and also serve as the base for some of the most wonderful breakfast foods and culinary additions, including that most perfect of condiments for sandwiches, mayonnaise.

Every year the second Friday of October is celebrated as World Egg Day. This day is all about creating awareness about the goodness of eggs and many health benefits associated with it.

"GOB3" ONE OF THE HEALTHIEST FOOD

Gob3”. It is a food enjoyed by many Ghanaian homes as it serves as a complete meal for the family. Currently, some people even add some salad leaves, eggs,etc. It is very rich in fibre, so all foods high in fibre are essential for good s***m quality. It is also very rich in protein. Gob3 has very good protein quality because even in a protein diet, the quality of the protein is also important. Also, it is very high in carbohydrates.

It Repairs tissues

One significant health benefit of “gob3” is tissue healing. Beans are an excellent source of protein. Protein’s primary function in the body is to heal damaged tissues. Proteins are responsible for the replacement of hair, finger nails, and muscles. This makes beans, gari, and plantain a complete and balanced meal for vegans in particular.

2. Prevents constipation

Ripe plantain mixed to beans meal has powerful fibers that help digestion and allow for easy bowel movement. The fiber of ripe plantain also contributes to feeling fuller for a longer amount of time. This explains why most people enjoy eating beans and ripe plantain with gari. It takes a longer time to feel hungry after eating this meal.
