This is to inform the general public that our free clubfoot treatment supported by Miracle feet has resumed on normal clubfoot treatment at Kanifing General Hospital and Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital.
Due to Covid19 global pandemic, all our clubfoot treatment clinic were suspended now that the spread of the infection is getting controlled in The Gambia, Gambia clubfoot foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Health and our funding partner miraclefeet feels equally the clubfoot treatment has to kickoff with minimum intake of patients per week.
That is just to observe social distancing rule in a bit to protect our staff, parents and the clubfooted children from the spread of the Covid19 with the support of the use of PPE.

The foundation was able to provide clubfoot treatment training both Basic and Advance level with Non-surgical methods of clubfoot treatment Ponseti Techniques to 12 Gambian healthcare workers from the two pilot Hospitals.

Gambia Clubfoot Foundation is a registered charitable foundation (2017/C4808), initiated as a community based program to lobby for funding, Specialist Doctors (Orthopedic surgeons) to support free treatment of children born with clubfoot (Twisted Limbs) and support training of multidisciplinary Gambian healthcare professionals with Non-surgical methods of clubfoot treatment (Ponseti Techniques). We realized that treatment of this disability is a challenge and there are few medically trained Gambian orthopaedics or physiotherapist doctors and nurses to cure such condition.
