Emotions filled in the hearts, yet smiles brighten the faces, the Ministry of Lands, Regional Government and Religious Affairs on Thursday March 14 2024, welcomed its Honorable Minister, Honorable Ousman Sowe upon returning home on Sunday March 10 2024, from Saudi Arabia after undergoing medical treatments.
Speaking to the staff, Minister Sowe reiterates his commitments to serve Gambians in the best of his abilities to the best interest of every Gambian. He urged the staff to always see Gambians first and not anything that will not positively impact Gambian People.
He encouraged the staff to maintain the strong relationship they have built while he was away which he said is the force that kept the ministry functional during his absence.
“I am not here to work today, I am here to visit my family, I am here to talk to them, I am here to thank them and I am here to advice them” Minister Sowe told the staff.
He thank God for regaining his health while also expressing gratitude to Permanent Secretary Saffie Sankareh-Farage and her Deputies, the General Staff, Chiefs, Alkalolu, Religious Leaders and all Gambians. Further, He thanked the Gambia Government, Senegalese Government and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the utmost support put in his successful treatment.
