OJ Koroma Foundation Supports Mothers at Serrek***a Health Center.

Ex-Gambian international footballer, Omar Koroma through his OJ Koroma Foundation last Tuesday presented food stuffs and baby oil to nursing and pregnant mothers at Serrek***a Health Center.

Presenting the items, omar koromo explained that he is someone who always wants to contribute his quarter to the development of his country, and that this gesture is part of giving back to his community.

On behalf of the Facility management of Serrek***a Health Center, the OIC welcome the gesture and commend OJ for the support he has given to the community of Serrek***a.

In Our Quest To Provide Our Clients With The Quality of Health Care Services, today our Maternal and Reproductive Child Health unit conducted health education/sensitisation and the topic of discussion was Malaria and ways of preventing our most vulnerables in the population; the under fives and pregnant mothers.

We are happy we are speaking about it, and that most of the audience knew what this criminal disease is about and ways they can prevent themselves from it.

Two Key Take Home Massages To Our Audience Was:
1. Sleep under treated mosquitoe bed net.
2: Make sure we live in a clear environment.

Together we can prevent ourselves and the population from malariaπŸ’ͺ

Formal Opening Of The Newly Refurbished Maternity/Labour Ward of Serrek***a Health Center!.

In December 2020 we wrote to the general public notifying them about the Temporal closure of Serrek***a Health Center Maternity Ward due to the ongoing refurbishment process by UNFPA.

The general public is hereby notified that the refurbishment process on the labour ward have been completed, and that the Maternity Ward have formally resume it's full operations from 1st June 2022.

The donated items includes urine bags, Dressing materials, Sanitary pads, Wheelchairs and other essential medical items.

The items were received on the behalf of the health Center by Mr. David Daye The Officer in charge of Serrek***a health Center.

The Desk Officer of Serrek***a Health Center Mr. Samba Bah is The Newly Appointed Rigional Operations Officer (ROO) of Mighty Western Health Region One (WR1).
Movers and Shakers!.

And then we wouldn't do justice as a facility if we do not take this opportunity to thank and appreciate Mr. Bah's effort in uplifting the Public Health Department and Serrek***a Health Center in general.

Mr. Bah is indeed a clear definition of dedication and hardwork. He shared a great interpersonal working relationship with colleagues and had contributed immensely to the development of the health Center.

With his remarkable leadership skill, his recent achievements including the refurbishmet and furnishment process of the Public Health Office with the aid of UNFPA and EMCCF.
Mr. Bahs appointment as the ROO do not came as a surprise, as he is passionate about his work and has the fitting capabilities for the job

Freeman Health Care Foundation in partnership with CRAWAH organisation donated medical items to Serrek***a Health on Wednesday 20th January, 2022.

The medical items were received by the Officer in Charge (OIC) of serrek***a health Center Mr. David Daye.
The donated items included thermometers, Pulse oximeters, gIucometers, test strips, lancets/prickers, hand sanitizer, manual and auto BP machines and some other medical supplies.

Mr. Daye on behalf of the management team of the health Center will like to thank the Foundation of Freeman Health Care and CRAWAH for the gesture.
