She came quietly…
but not unnoticed 💛

Last Friday, 17th April 2026,
Chan arrived at Nemasu Care Home —
and already, the rhythm of the home has changed.

A soft presence,
a strong spirit,
and just enough mischief…
to let the other princesses know 👸🏾👸🏽
“I am here.”

She is already marking her territory —
not with noise,
but with courage,
with resilience,
with a spark that refuses to be dimmed ✨

Chan is 9 years old.
Her journey has not been easy —
but here, her story begins again.

A place where the ground is kinder,
where hands lift instead of push,
where laughter replaces silence,
and where she is not different…
just one of us ❤️

Safe to say… the inspection was VERY thorough 🤣🙌

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of our beloved Minka, our gentle white rabbit here at Nemasu Care Home, after a brief illness. 🤍🐇

Minka was not just a pet — she played a special role in our home by providing comfort and pet therapy to our children. Her calm presence, soft cuddles, and quiet companionship brought smiles, ease, and emotional support to so many of our residents. 🌿💕

She was truly part of our family, and her impact on the wellbeing of our children will never be forgotten. Her dear friend Dinka will surely miss her deeply, and so will all of us. 💔

At Nemasu, even the smallest lives leave the biggest footprints in our hearts.

Rest peacefully, sweet Minka. You will always be remembered and cherished. 🤍✨

Our boys and girls officially took Nemasu on tour… destination: KJ Cupcakes 🍰✨

And let’s just say — this wasn’t just lunch… this was a full VIP experience 😎👏
New environment, big smiles, wide eyes, and memories being made in real time. For many of them, this was their first ever outing like this — and they embraced every second of it 💛

From the moment we stepped in, the excitement was LOUD… but nothing — and we mean NOTHING — could prepare us for what happened when the cupcakes arrived… 👀

They didn’t eat them…
They didn’t taste them…
They VAPORISED them 😭😂🧁💨

Cupcakes disappeared faster than we could say “save me one!”

A massive THANK YOU to KJ Cupcakes for hosting us so warmly and making our children feel so special — and an extra special shoutout to our very own Aunty Mba Jawara, whose generosity turned a sweet day into an unforgettable one. May your kindness return to you in abundance, Ameen 🤲✨

Moments like this remind us that joy doesn’t have to be complicated — sometimes, it’s just a cupcake, a smile, and a chance to feel included 💛

While many of our children travelled home for Eid 🌙🏡, those who remained at Nemasu Care Home were treated to a special celebration 🎉🥳💖

A small party filled with laughter 😂, delicious food 🍛🍗, and beautiful moments of joy 💃🏾✨—because every child deserves to feel the Eid spirit 🤍🌙

A HUGE shoutout to our super star team ⭐💪🏾—Susan 💖, Secretary Elly 📝✨, and our amazing Caretaker Vandi 🛠️👏🏾—who stayed behind to care for our children with so much love while their colleagues took a well-deserved break 🙏🏾❤️

For the first time in a year since we began, Nemasu Care Home will be a little quiet this Eid 🌙🤍

Most of our residents will be going home to spend this special time with their families 🏡💖… and while we’ll miss the laughter and energy, our hearts are full knowing they’re surrounded by love 🥰

Jonks is already TOO excited to go 😂🎉… bags probably packed since yesterday! 🧳😄

It’s a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do ❤️ Creating a safe, loving space—but also celebrating those precious family moments when they come 🤲🏾✨

We’ll definitely miss our little stars 🌟 but we can’t wait to welcome them back with even more love, stories, and smiles InShaaAllaah 💕
