Merry Christmas! ✨We received a big gift and an early Christmas! We wanted to share this good news with you - so many people are going to be blessed with the arrival of the container. Staff already unpacked it!

As we anticipate giving gifts to each other for Christmas, we remember the gift of smiles and surgical education at CEH! The staff was introduced to new surgical equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for staff and the short-term team to exchange knowledge and make memories together.

Dr. Joel is a maxillofacial surgeon/dentist who has been facilitating our dental ministry since 2015. He is meeting with Dr. Bello and dental tech Felix, as they work together in preventive community education and give advanced dental care. Dr. Joel generously provided dental materials to CEH dental service. Shout out to Rob Uhler from Pottersville, New Jersey, who saved, packed, and delivered the dental office furniture from NJ to MI for the container that just arrived at CEH!

Fresh Rosee School welcomes Chantal! She is a driving force for encouragement, support, and communication between Fresh Rosee School and CEH mission board. Her passion and energy for the education of the Guinean children are inspiring. Fresh Rosee has 799 students! The registration for school increased by 88% this year. They added a second campus in town. This school provides solid education with high standards for local families and hospital staff; a critical part of the ministry.

Orthopedists Dr. Duane and Dr. Shawn trained our national CEH surgical team, as they cared for multiple handicapped Guinean patients. Their expert abilities and contributions to orthopedic materials improved CEH's long-term care for many patients. We are very grateful to Skeletal Dynamics and several individuals for generously donating gifts of orthopedic materials.

Welcome, short-term mission team in December 2025: Dr. Duane, Chantal, Dr. Shawn, and Dr. Joel! The team brought medical and educational materials. They are training in orthopedics and dental/maxillofacial areas. They are also providing additional materials to Fresh Rosee School. Please pray for health and stamina for the short-termers, effective training with staff, and continued compassionate care of patients.

Every infant is a gift. As we approach a Christmas season where we celebrate Jesus' birth, we also want to celebrate that 21 people were trained in maternal and infant care at the Village Health Communicators training last weekend! We are so glad to collaborate with Peace Corps and Government authorities for this. Also, thanks to our ObGyn department, more mothers than ever are receiving ultrasounds which can lower infant death rates and increase health for the duration of the pregnancy.

Important Prayer Request: this November there is a CEH 40 foot container arriving at port. Please cover this in prayer as it continues it's travels from a truck, several railroad stops, through 3 ports, then the unknown cost of customs, and finally another truck on treacherous Guinean roads.
The safe delivery of these supplies will be greatly appreciated by staff and patients.

Back to school already! With the opening of the new academic year, Fresh Rosée has a new sign and a new building in town - just in time to grow with our students' minds! Last year we were blessed with 425 students and we expect even more this year!
They're not the only ones learning either - Paul Sidjani was at two U.S. conferences sharpening his orthopedic skills as well as presenting! AND we have 6 Nursing students finishing their last year!
