My healing journey started with a ton of mindset work which worked initially but the triggers were still there.

I knew there was something much deeper I needed to work on…

Your body holds a wealth of wisdom that your mind often overlooks.

By learning to RELATE to your body’s sensations and emotions, you get into deeper levels of healing and understanding.

Instead of running from discomfort, embrace it.
Sit with it.

Understand it.

It’s not about suppressing emotions, but finding peace within them.

We live in a culture of that rewards AVOIDANCE.

Being inauthentic with our emotions is causing A LOT more harm than we think.

Encouraging constant positivity without acknowledging and embodying our true emotional experiences is making us chronically ill.

Our emotions, needs, and impulses often get buried deep within us as a means to preserve connection and safety.

This stems from learned behaviors, such as associating love and anger as incompatible.

Perhaps, during our childhood, we suppressed anger to be perceived as the “good kid.”

On the other hand, experiences of violence or abuse may have instilled a fear that expressing anger could lead to similar outcomes.

Society rewards people pleasers and punishes healthy anger.

It’s time to flip the script.

DISCLAIMER ❗️I’m absolutely not the one to push supplements to fix your health issues.

I worked in the supplement industry for 5 years and I’ve been a holistic wellness coach and exercise physiologist for over 10+ years.

If your body is stuck in a parasympathetic state (ie.) ANYTHING you do or throw it won’t work the way you want it to.

TRUE RELIEF is not found in quick fixes or temporary solutions such as supplements and medications. 💊 

Let me be clear, these have their place and time. BUT most of the time they are acting as a bandage.

It requires a deeper understanding of the body and its signals. By taking the time to LISTEN to what your body is telling you.

However, there are times that are absolutely essential and can help with your healing journey.

Magnesium and minerals are both non-negotiable for me and ALL my clients are adviced to take them regardless what they are healing from.

I use the rest of them mentioned in the slides as tools when needed. I’ve worked with clients that we never had to use any of them.

Healing happens in slowness, surrender, and flow.

I wanted to talk about flow states and force states, and how they relate to healing since it’s been coming up lately…

But flow states don’t just happen effortlessly. They require action - emotional, physical, or mental. New actions, unfamiliar actions, and often uncomfortable ones.

This is where self-care comes in. Self-care is not about pampering yourself. It’s about taking actions that support your healing, not force it.
