Honoured to see my name among so many distinguished colleagues and accomplished leaders within ophthalmology as part of this outstanding team at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

I am delighted to have been appointed International Member Representative (co-opted) on the Digital Learning Subcommittee. As someone passionate about ophthalmic education, innovation, and digital transformation, I look forward to contributing to initiatives that help shape the future of learning and support the next generation of ophthalmologists.

Honoured to have participated as an International Examiner for the FRCOphth Viva and OSCE examinations in Birmingham.

It is always a privilege to contribute to the assessment of future ophthalmologists at such a high standard. The calibre of candidates, the rigour of the examination process, and the commitment to maintaining excellence in ophthalmic training were all truly impressive.

Engaging with colleagues from across the UK and internationally also provides a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on clinical practice, education, and evolving standards in our field.

Examinations such as these play a critical role in ensuring that the next generation of ophthalmologists are not only knowledgeable, but also clinically safe, thoughtful, and patient-centred.

I am honoured to have been invited to serve as an External Expert for the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE), Greece. This role represents a significant opportunity to contribute to the safeguarding and advancement of academic quality, standards, and institutional excellence within the national higher education framework. I look forward to supporting the Authority’s mission in promoting rigorous evaluation, innovation, and the continuous evolution of medical and healthcare education.
