Dear colleagues,

We would like to sincerely thank all the dance movement therapy experts who took the time to respond to the DanceCARE questionnaire. Your insights have been invaluable to the educational programme of Erasmus+, designed to support caregivers of elderly people with long-term care needs.

It is with great pleasure that we share the results with the entire EADMT community and beyond. The infographic here, summarizes the results of the questionnaire.

To those of you who want to contribute their expertise, we are inviting everyone to participate in an expert focus group on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM CET. This focus group aims to build upon the questionnaire results and a comprehensive literature review, shaping a training programme that will strengthen resilience and reduce stress among long-term caregivers through dance and movement. We will present the draft with you and discuss 3-4 key questions on how to improve it.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow DMT professionals, exchange ideas, and collaborate on a project that has the potential to significantly impact the well-being of caregivers.
