The embryo transfer is the final step of your IVF treatment. For a "fresh" embryo transfer, it is typically scheduled 3 or 5 days after egg retrieval.

The Greek National Authority of Assisted Reproduction http://eaiya.gov.gr/en/oversees IVF clinics and ensures that they comply with Greek IVF laws. Gennima IVF is a licensed IVF clinic and cryo bank. The complete list of licensed IVF clinics & cryo banks can be found on the aforementioned website.

All IVF clinics are required to have ISO accreditation which will attest to their adherence to safety and quality. At Gennima IVF we operate with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, being the first Greek IVF clinic accredited by the newest and more demanding version of ISO 9001, certified by TÜV Hellas (TÜV Nord Group). Additionally, Gennima IVF applies EN 15224, a widely known quality management system specifically developed for the healthcare sector.

Following international guidelines, being up to date on the scientific field and most importantly paying attention to detail are the key factors for our high success rates.

We are required to submit our IVF success rates to the Authority and it is their responsibility to present the data to the public. We also submit our annual results to ESHRE and take part in the survey carried out yearly by ESHRE into the state of ART in Europe.
