ΕΝΗΜΕΡΩΣΗ ΨΗΦΙΣΘΕΝΤΩΝ ΚΕΙΜΕΝΩΝ ΟΜΑΔΑΣ ΕΡΓΑΣΙΑΣ ORAL HEALTH (OH) ΤΟΥ ΣΥΜΒΟΥΛΙΟΥ ΕΥΡΩΠΑΙΩΝ ΟΔΟΝΤΙΑΤΡΩΝ
"...the second policy paper that the WG OH is presenting to you today, is the updated CED Resolution on “to***co, alternative to***co & to***co-free ni****ne products” the latest having been dedicated to the To***co Products Directive.
This updated version, on the other hand, is based on the observed developments in to***co consumption, production and marketing since the latest revision of the To***co Products Directly.
This update therefore drastically broadens the scope of the paper by including mention of alternative to***co products, snus, and ni****ne products, as well as the understanding of the oral cavity in the paper, and the role of dental practitioners in the detection and diagnosis of oral cancers and diseases relating to to***co consumption.
It also covers the impact of the availability and accessibility of oral healthcare services in to***co consumption and cessation, and the development and care of chronic to***co-related diseases.
As you have also been informed, in parallel, there has been institutional advancements on to***co policy, with the extension of the to***co-free environments to other outdoor spaces involving children, and covering alternative to***co products, including smoke-free to***co products (snus, heated-to***co products) and to***co-free products (to***co-free snus, aerosols, puffs, etc). There have been strong calls by organizations to revision the EU to***co legislation, which we are hoping to see in the upcoming year..."
