Now, as the days slowly shift, I find myself reflecting on how this season always feels like a fresh start. Not quite the cozy autumn yet, especially here in Greece, where the sun still lingers, but more of a gentle return. Back to work, back to school, back to the practices that ground us.

I see this time as an invitation to reset: to rebuild routines, to breathe deeper, to move with more awareness, and to bring back the balance that summer’s freedom sometimes scatters.

For me, this is not just about structure, but about intention, choosing how we want to step into this next chapter, with clarity and presence ✨

Being a student again with Lauren—her wisdom, humor, and heart—reminded me why I started this journey in the first place. Every cue, every conversation, every moment on the mat helped me reconnect with my own practice and purpose.
Surrounded by the beauty of Portugal and a community of inspiring sous, I felt supported, challenged, and truly seen. If you teach, give yourself the gift of being a student. Your soul (and your students!) will thank you.

People often ask why I chose to move to Greece—especially since I barely speak the language, have no close family or friends here, and am definitely not a fan of heat (to put it mildly!).

But here’s the thing…

First, there’s the sea—magical, healing, calming. Warm and gentle, endlessly beautiful. Just being near it changes something in you.

Then there’s the sunlight. Harsh at midday in summer, yes—but during those crisp, clear winter mornings? It’s golden and life-giving. Coffee on the terrace becomes a daily ritual of gratitude.

And the food. Fresh fruits and vegetables, wild greens, beans, incredible fish… Greece is a paradise for vegetarians and pescatarians. Even the simplest taverna serves something unforgettable—and often, it’s surprisingly affordable.

But most of all, it’s the people. Warm, welcoming, full of life. They know how to enjoy the moment, how to be kind without needing a reason.

So no, I didn’t come here for logical reasons. I came because my heart told me this place had something I needed. And it was right. 💙🤍

Aging isn’t easy.
Not because of the numbers, but because of the expectations we silently carry.
We cling to old versions of ourselves—the youthful body, the smooth skin, the effortless energy.

And when change arrives, as it always does, we resist.
We judge the softness in our belly, the slower pace, the shifting shape of our reflection.
But like all transitions in life, aging deserves gentleness—not a battle.

It takes time to accept, to soften into the present version of ourselves.
Time to understand that growing older is not a loss, but a different kind of becoming.

The key is to keep moving.
Not to stay the same, but to stay alive—inside and out.
To nourish the body, care for the mind, and live in a way that feels kind and conscious.

Start where you are. Move a little every day.
Eat well, rest deeply, and surround yourself with joy.
Happiness doesn’t come from looking like we once did—it comes from honoring who we are now. 💛
