My name is Tara and I am so happy to have you be a part of this community! I have over 25 years experience practicing yoga and became a qualified teacher in 2018. I am a passionate and attentive teacher, inspiring and guiding people through their own yoga journey in a fun, safe and welcoming space. I offer a holistic approach, combining the ancient traditional practices of asana (postures), medita

tion and yoga philosophy with modern day application. This is so you will learn the right tools that work for you, at a time that is right for you in your day to day life. Every body is different, so therefore everybody's journey is different. This is why I will always encourage to listen to tune in to what your own body needs and work at a pace that suits you. Don't worry, I’ll help you understand how to tune in and to discover what it is that feels good for you. This way, you can learn to experience more calm and contentment outside of the classes, as well as during them! Along with the many (now well-known) physical benefits of practicing yoga, the mindful classes I teach will help to improve your interoception, allowing you to regulate your own nervous system during times of high stress and anxiety.

I used to think that rest was something I had to earn.
That if I worked hard enough… achieved enough - even yoga-d enough 🙈
Then I’d earn the right to stop.

I thought I had to keep “working on myself” to get the results I was so craving.
Yoga Nidra showed me I had it completely backwards!

I’m working on something now that I absolutely can’t wait to share with you. 🤗

It’s for everyone who needs support (maybe even permission 🤭) to finally, deeply rest…

And discover what’s on the other side of it. ✨

☀️ Gorgeous day for beach yoga!
And also - PLEASE NOTE!!!! ⬇️⬇️

It’s the Poseidon marathon.
I’ve done some research though and it’s still very possible to get to here 🙏🏼
If you live locally - The pavements (sidewalks) are open as normal. You can cross the road but have to be careful of the runners!
At 11am there will be a dip in people as most runners will have finished - and the fun run doesn’t start yet!

Tram from the centre stops at Mousson (around 10 min walk away from beach) Give yourself a bit of extra time if you’re coming this way.
Tram 7 (the voula one) is not affected.

Road is open on Poseidon in the direction towards Piraeus - but closed in the direction towards Glyfada.

Looking forward to relaxing ith you in the sunshine.

I used to believe that there was something fundamentally wrong with me. That I was missing a piece of the good life puzzle.
I can’t tell you how many times I wrote things in my journal like…
“I suck at life”
“I’m broken?”
“why don’t I get it?”

I was doing all the yoga, the gym, the mindset, the law of attraction…
I was reading all the books. Following all the teachings.
I tried many types of therapies and energy practices,
Constantly trying to improve and fix myself.

And maybe doing that work is what got me through some of the darkest times. It allowed me to be here to tell this tale - and that’s a beautiful thing.
🙏🏼🙏🏼

But all the trying to regulate and improve myself left me feeling depleted and like I’d never get there…
I’d never be good enough.

Until that is, I changed my approach.
And instead of trying to change who I was.
I committed to accepting myself, exactly as I was.

Instead of trying to fix what I thought was broken. I focused on practices that allowed me to experience myself as whole, worthy and complete.

Instead of trying to “transcend” this human experience. I allowed myself to fully embody it.

I spent less time “doing the work” and more time simply being present with what was coming up.

Amd I know it’s not as cool anymore with the zillion wellbeing practices we have these days.
But without a shadow of a doubt…
Meditation has helped me more than anything else I’ve tried. And trust me when I say - I tried most things!

Meditation (including yoga nidra) allows me to consistently connect with the part of myself that’s beyond all the self criticism, anxiety and doubt.

✨You see
Each time we access that inner well of peace, love and acceptance that’s inside of us, we bring a little piece of it back.
And over time and without effort - it’s simply a part of who we are.

And I truly believe it’s where our power lies.
