👊The Bladder meridian totally rocks!
With this graphic, I wanted to align the points on the back that are next to each other, (the 1.5 cun line and the 3 cun line), to make it easier for students to remember them, and for practitioners to use them in pairs.
I love to use them together. For example, if I wanted a patient with TCM KD deficiency to get better results, I would needle BL 23 AND BL 52 🤩
- BL 42: Opens the Lung (asthma), and stop cough.
- BL 43: Nourishes LU Yin for coughing blood, night sweat.
- BL 44: Opens he chest (asthma, chest pain, palpitation, cough), and relax the sinews (Mid back pain).
- BL 45: Opens the LU and clears heat for Asthma, cough.
- BL 46: Bring ST Qi down (Vomiting, hiccup, belching), and relaxes the diaphragm.
- BL 47: Moves LV Qi (Depression, long standing anger), Harmonize Wood & Earth (for emotional eating).
- BL 48: Eliminate Damp & clears Heat for GB stone dislodging, diarrhea due to GB issues.
- BL 49: Tonifies SP (especially for focus and memorizing), eliminate damp-heat (vomiting, diarrhea, bloating).
- BL 50: Harmonize ST (Indigestion).
- BL 51: Soften hardness (Constipation, abdominal pain).
- BL 52: Tonifies KD Essence (Impotence, seminal emission, irregular me**es, low back and/or knee pain), support Bladder (Enuresis, frequent dribbling urination), and boost willpower (determination!).
- BL 53: Strengthens the Low back, opens the Lower Jiao (constipation and urine retention).
- BL 54: Tonifies the spine (sacral & Lumbar pain), and Lower Jiao (hemorrhoids, constipation, external genitalia swelling).
