Ο Δρ. Ελευθέριος Μερίδης γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα. Είναι απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Ειδικεύτηκε στη Μαιευτική και Γυναικολογία στο Γυναικολογικό Τμήμα του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων. Στη συνέχεια έκανε υποειδίκευση στη γυναικολογική ενδοσκοπική χειρουργική και την υποβοηθούμενη αναπαραγωγή/εξωσωματική γονιμοποίηση στο νοσοκομείο Hammersmith του Λονδίνου. Έχει θ
ητεύσει ωςresearchfellow για το ImperialCollege και έχει ολοκληρώσει τα μαθήματα θεωρητικών και κλινικών δεξιοτήτων της Βρετανικής Εταιρείας Γονιμότητας. Dr Eleftherios Meridis was born in Athens, Greece. He specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Gynecological Department of the University of Ioannina, Greece. He subsequently subspecialized in Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery and Assisted Reproduction/IVF at Hammersmith Hospital, London, UK. He has been a research fellow for Imperial College and has completed the theoretical and clinical skills training modules of the British Fertility Society. He has been an hysteroscopic instructor for the European Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (ESGE). He has been an invited speaker at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has written articles for medical journals and books. He holds a Thesis on the topic of embryoscopy from the University of Ioannina. He has cooperated as an Endoscopic Surgeon and Fertility Specialist with hospitals, IVF centers and clinics in Greece and UK. His special interest lies in the field of advanced hysteroscopy and the investigation and treatment of couples with infertility and recurrent IVF failure.
