Now spending my last day in India in Rishikesh, Uttrakhand ⛰️
Sharing some pics from Pondicherry and Auroville (🇮🇳Tamil Nadu, South India).A place where I practice intensive sandhana🧘🏻‍♂️ (personal practice) deeply meditated with the Grace of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother in infinite silence observing the divine consciousness and trying to merge with my true Self. "I am that" , "So Ham ".
Pondicherry is an ex french 🇫🇷 colony with a strong heritage and architecture and beautiful sea front promenade and home to Sri Aurobindo ashram where his Samadhi (tomb) which also holds the body of the Mother, his successor as guru and spiritual master..this place is a heaven of peace in Pondicherry old town, it's strong energy is conductive to deep mental silence and meditation.
Auroville, a town envisioned by the Mother, a place that wants to be a universal, where men and women of all countries are able to live in peace and progressive harmony above all creeds, all politics and all nationalities. The purpose of Auroville is to realise human unity, the search of the truth and worship of the ultimate consciousness. It's home to the Matrimundir at its centre and known as the Soul of Auroville .A large golden monument symbolises a lotus and its petals which hold the "chamber" , a meditation room of deep silence dedicated to concentration on one's consciousness.
Can't recommend both these places enough. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Maha Shivaratri is a Hindu festival celebrated annually in honour of the deity Shiva.  According to the Hindu calendar, the festival is observed on the fourteenth day of the first half (night start with darkness - waning) of the lunar month of Magha.The festival commemorates the wedding of Shiva and Parvati,and the occasion that Shiva performs his divine dance, called the Tandava.

🕉️What an amazing way and place to start my Sunday off, right by my door step. celebrating autumn with bright sunshine, cristal clear water and vast blue skies ☀️🪷

It's been such a blessing landing in Crete🇬🇷 this season for work, bathing in the Mediterranean sea 🌊 everyday to let go of worldly tensions and connect with mother earth and mother water.✨

Om Asato ma sadgamaya
(From ignorance, lead me to truth)

( From darkness, lead me to light)

( From death, lead me to immortality)

(Om peace peace peace)
From Sanskrit
ॐ असतो मा सद्गमय ।
तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय ।
मृत्योर्मा अमृतं गमय ।
ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥
This mantra is from the Brhadaranyaka Upanishad is about 2500 years old. Commonly chanted in the Yoga tradition till this day, twice daily, opening or closing a practice. It elevates the mind, calling for detachment from the conditionings that causes mental suffering.

This early morning, closing my japa mantra meditation 📿 with some prayers🙏 I noticed my mind so busy and frustrated 🤯as I was uttering the sacred syllable Om . I committed to myself that from now, I will constantly remind myself 💭 to enjoy to the fullest with gratitude every in and out -breath as an echo of the sound of Om.🕉️
And the mind became calm, the frustration was replaced with a smile on my face and a feeling of lightness knowing that everything is ok and beautiful exactly as it is .😊✨
