Midwifery is an invaluable profession and it is well established that supporting midwives is equal to supporting the health of women, babies, birthing people's and the future of humanity. Midwifery is under threat in Greece and it is being suggested that they should not care for people who are giving birth! If this change passes the women and babies of Greece would suffer greatly. If you have ever given birth or been born then please take a few moments to like and share this post. Suggested donation is €10 but you can pay more or less, whatever you can afford.

The presentation will look at the history of Infant Formula marketing, the decline of breastfeeding in the 20th Century, factors that led to the emergence of the WHO Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes, and the impact that the Code has had globally. WHO Code compliance for IBCLCs and health professionals will be discussed, and the session will finish with a Q&A.

A recording of the event will be emailed to everyone who books.

In addition, attendees will recieve a certificate of attendance (one hour of Ethics lactation education for anyone gathering education hours towards IBCLC certification).

It can be overwhelming and we can feel helpless, but we are not. There are many things we can do, alone and together. Please visit , send their emails and let's work together!
Posted • Take the pledge that we will not just sit on our phones watching Palestinians be massacred.

Let’s make sure this weekend we all take action. I’m going to list a few things below you can do👇 (Please add more in the comments - list demonstrations for others to join)

1. Email your MP / Representative / Elected Official using the 3 recent templates in ’s bio. It only takes a few minutes.

2. Call them. Their contact details are public — and you can use the email template as a script. (Stay calm and clear — we must get the borders open.)

3. Support mutual aid. Visit and to donate to community kitchens and urgent grassroots fundraisers.

4. Boycott. Learn about the BDS movement and start boycotting with tools like .

5. Organise. No local solidarity group? Start one. There are plenty of guides online. Message your friends, your community, the people you’ve met at demos — and take action this weekend.

6. Disrupt. Take part in a training course with - you never know what you might learn.

7. Join. Join the campaign to disrupt the supply of weapons to apartheid Israel.

Posted • 🚨Israel Announces Ethnic Cleansing and Permanent Occupation of Gaza🚨

On 5 May, Israel’s security cabinet unanimously approved a new plan to escalate operations in Gaza, including the “conquest” of the territory and the promotion of the “voluntary migration” of its population into Egypt’s Sinai Desert.

Let’s call this what it is: the annexation of Gaza and the ethnic cleansing of its citizens—all while we approach ten weeks of Israel blocking food and water to the population.

The approved plan includes several core elements: the military occupation of the Gaza Strip, full territorial control, and the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians to southern Gaza, nearer to the Rafah border crossing into Sinai.

Ethnic cleansing has never been incidental to Israel’s project — it has been a core objective from the very start. The creation of the state itself was rooted in this goal, and decades later, its policies remain consistent in advancing it.

This is the collapse of international law. Palestine has laid bare a global system that not only permits genocide—but protects it, funds it, and cloaks it in the language of human rights.

We are so far beyond words. Beyond condemnation.
What we are witnessing is indefensible: the greatest crime against humanity in our time.

I've started a business course!!! 😜
I've never thought of myself as particularly good with business so who better to teach me, than the wonderful
The course is specifically designed for birth workers, so obviously right up my street.
To be honest it's been a challenge, working out and accepting the tensions between wanting to be seen and exposed and also knowing that I don't want to spend all my time tied to my phone, promoting, designing, marketing! I've also been sent a few curve balls with work and now my family have arrived for Easter 🐇..... Is this me getting in my own my? Or justified reasons for not being on top of the course content 🤷

I'm learning and I'm getting there and Anna is a graceful, insightful guide. Ever grateful 🙏
