Thai Yoga Massage originated in India and moved to Thailand along with Buddhism around 2000 years ago and has been part of their healing practices ever since. It is a holistic therapy where the human being is seen and treated as an ever-changing network of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual layers that all influence each other. Thai yoga massage aims to harmonize and balance the functionin

g of these layers. Thai yoga massage achieves this through rhythmically applying pressure on different acupressure points along the ten sen (10 main energy lines which Thai massage focuses on) with thumbs, knees and elbows as well as applying a series of yoga like stretches. A full body massage lasts for two hours, is carried out on a thin mattress on the floor and the receiver wears comfortable clothing. Traditionally oils are not used in Thai massage, however in our practice there is possibility to use oil for different sections of the full body massage.
