Today marks our 177th company anniversary! ✨

On 17 November 1846, Carl Zeiss is said to have moved into his first workshop in Jena. This date is officially regarded as the birth of the ZEISS company. Since then, the small workshop for precision mechanics and optics in Jena has grown into an internationally leading technology enterprise in the field of optics.

We can look back on 177 years full of history, innovations and great team spirit.
