You don’t need to “let it go” today.
You don’t need to “move on.”
You don’t need to be ready.
The tension in your shoulders?
The weight in your chest?
The lump in your throat?
They’re not signs of weakness.
They are signs of survival.
Your body did what it had to — to keep you safe.
In dance movement therapy, we don’t force release.
We meet what’s there — gently, with curiosity, with breath.
We make space for what has been held too long.
Your body is not your enemy.
It’s your witness.
And it remembers because it had to.
