QR Patrol uses the power of a smartphone which communicates in real-time with a 24/7/365 Monitoring Center. QR-Patrol consists of two major subsystems:
- QR-Patrol software (mobile application software) which loads in the mobile devices (smartphones compatible with iOS or Android). The software is installed and is then updated automatically via Google Play and Apple iTunes.
- Web/Cloud applicatio
n, which is available on Internet. When a guard visits a specific checkpoint, he will scan a NFC tag (Near Field Communication) with his smartphone or scan a QR Code via the camera of his smartphone. Immediately, the Monitoring Center is informed about the presence of the guard, the exact time of his visit and the GPS coordinates of his position. In case it is not possible, data will be automatically sent when the smartphone is again internet connected. The guard has the ability to send a full incidents’ report. He can send text, voice messages and images so as to inform the company about any occurring incident (e.g. a broken window in the region of the client). There is also the ability to sign the reports on the screen of his smartphone so as to they will be used immediately for legal or insurance issues. In case of danger, the guard can press a simple SOS button and a SOS alert will be send, indicating the accurate coordinates of his position. In this way, the company will be immediately informed about a real-time danger in guards’ region and take immediate action. QR-Patrol can send e-mail / SMS or inform the client via the web browser, eliminating the doubts about the consistency a security company shows towards its client. The company has the ability to define specific timelines in order to manage the hours that a guard is obliged to pass from the checkpoints. By this way, the company can be informed for any possible delay. The Monitoring Center can send instructions to the guard as well as navigation coordinates for emergency incidents (e.g. the coordinates of a guard who sent SOS alert). Briefly, some basic features:
- Checkpoint scans
- MME pictures, voice messages, personal signatures
- Create scheduled routes
- Pull reports and logs using filters
- TEST, I’m alive, SOS alert
- Two way communication text messages
- Real time position monitoring
- Inform clients by e-mail for any occurred incident
