Villa Zoe • a mountaintop retreat Villa Zoe, holistic retreat center with lovely accommodation, clean air to enjoy, healing sessions + seminars, as well as lush mountains to climb.

Villa Zoe was originally built in 1979 as rooms to let and originally called Villa Americana. After the death of my father in 1987, we closed the villa as there were no extra hands to run it. In 2000, having just completed massage school the previous year, I was determined to open it again as a holistic retreat center. Little did I know that only weeks later, this neglected jewel would burn in a forest fire.The fire burnt 5 out of the 10 rooms and all the doors and windows. In 2004, following a tremendous amount of bureaucracy and red tape, the building had begun. In 2005, the house part was finished but I was still unable to be here to run it. I went back and forth from Athens, NY to Corfu, teaching a workshop here and there, but as any new baby, it needs your undivided attention. Only 9 years later, my husband and I made the leap to finally come to Corfu full-time and make a go of it. This summer we had our first guests and I taught the 1st Arvigo self care class in the new space. I look forward to sharing this Villa with those who enjoy nature, want to heal themselves, transform and live fully!
