What is "One World"? Version: People!

An Eramus+ KA1 project co-funded by the European Union, where our volunteers were able to discuss in practice the details of the educational process of people with Intellectual Disability.

This activity was part of the experiential course "Strategies to optimize learning for people with Intellectual Disabilities" organized by Asociatia Share Education in Arad, Romania.

The participants attended sessions with Integra Arad Ong, where they were able to test the games they created during the theoretical and hands-on sessions. The interaction with the wards of Integra was the culmination of the project's course, where the participants combined all the knowledge and experience gathered by discussing with experts, parents, psychologists, volunteers, trainers.

The last piece of information was gathered during this meeting: the measure of success of their efforts. The participants received feedback with the help of the voluteers of Integra, who translated what the persons with Intellectual disability felt about playing the games.

In addition, the participants held valuable round table discussions with parents and guardians of people with intellectual disability, receiving their feedback on the functionality of the drafted games, their satisfaction with both the potential uses as well as with their wards' response and feelings during the game sessions.

Each and every participant of Dracon expressed their thanks and gratitude to Integra for agreeing to have our group during their activities of this week. Thank you Integra!

What is "One World"? Version: TheoryCrafting!

An Eramus+ KA1 Short-term project for mobility of learners and staff in adult education (KA122-ADU) co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, where our volunteers were able to discuss in practice the details of the educational process of people with Intellectual Disability.

This activity was part of the experiential course "Strategies to optimize learning for people with Intellectual Disabilities" organized by Asociatia Share Education in Arad, Romania.

The participants went through the theory concerning the tool creation process, containing details such as target group identification, needs recognition, and subservience to specific learning objectives.

The trainers of Asociatia Share Education discussed the topics of the different needs depending on the level of intellectual disability, from the various viewpoints (the guardian's, the trainer's, the volunteer's, the person's). The topic of correctly combining the design with the needs and expected outcomes was connected to every section discussed.

The participants were able to start drafting various ideas and receive commentary and feedback related to the objectives and potential results from the presenters.

What is "One World"? Version: Hands-On!

An Eramus+ KA1 project co-funded by the European Union, where our volunteers were able to discuss in practice the uses of market games as tools in the educational process of people with Intellectual Disability, in conjunction with general principles and aspects of volunteering in such conditions.

This activity was part of the experiential course "Strategies to optimize learning for people with Intellectual Disabilities" organized by Asociatia Share Education on in Arad, Romania.

The participants went through practical sessions, seeing market games that may have applications for this particular target group, and talked about their experience with such games, while at the same time received commentary and analysis from pshychologists on the correlations of such games and their beneficial effects on the sensitive topics of Intellectual Disability (cause-effect).

The trainers of Asociatia Share Education shed light on grey areas and brought to the surface techniques and important key aspects of the needs of people with Intellectual disability, combined with the role of the volunteer.

The participants were able to start drafting various ideas and receive commentary and feedback related to the objectives and potential results from the presenters.

Στεκόμαστε στο πλευρό των ανθρώπων που απαρτίζουν τον συγγενή οργανισμό.

Τα συλλυπητήρια μας, και την ευχή μας για κουράγιο στην διευρυμένη οικογένεια.

Ο Γιάννης Μπρούζος, ιδρυτικό μέλος της Challedu, έφυγε από τη ζωή στις 2 Απρίλη 2026, αφήνοντας πίσω του μια βαθιά ανθρώπινη διαδρομή, γεμάτη γνώση, αγάπη και προσφορά. Ένας άνθρωπος που δεν ξεχώριζε μόνο για τις ιδέες του, αλλά κυρίως για τον τρόπο που τις έκανε πράξη.

Ο Γιάννης γεννήθηκε το 1984 στον Πειραιά όπου πέρασε τα πρώτα μαθητικά του χρόνια. Από πολύ νωρίς έδειξε ποιος ήταν: αγωνιστής και παρών. Πρόεδρος του 15μελούς, άριστος μαθητής και σημαιοφόρος, δραστήριος σε κάθε πλευρά της σχολικής ζωής. Σπούδασε στο Φυσικό του ΕΚΠΑ και συμμετείχε ενεργά στο φοιτητικό κίνημα. Αυτή η βαθιά ανάγκη για συμμετοχή και κοινό αγώνα τον συνόδευσε σε όλη του τη διαδρομή.

Μετά το Φυσικό συνέχισε τις σπουδές του σε διδακτορικό και μεταδιδακτορικό επίπεδο στη θεωρητική φυσική στη Γερμανία, στη Χαϊδελβέργη και το Αμβούργο, ενώ στη συνέχεια εργάστηκε και στο πανεπιστήμιο της Ουλμ. Παρόλες τις δυσκολίες και τα μνημόνια στην Ελλάδα άφησε την πετυχημένη καριέρα του στο εξωτερικό για να γυρίσει στους ανθρώπους του- στην σύνδεση. Μαζί με την αδερφή του Asimina Brouzou δημιούργησαν αρχικά τα Μουτράκια και στην συνέχεια τον οργανισμό Challedu. Μέσα από αυτή την πορεία σχεδίασαν και υλοποίησαν πρωτοπόρα εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα όπως οι Μικροί επιστήμονες, το Μυστήριο στο Γηροκομείο, Female legends of science και άλλα προωθώντας την συμπεριληπτική και ισότιμη εκπαίδευση. Επίσης ανέπτυξαν εκπαιδευτικά εργαλεία που έβαζαν στο επίκεντρο τη συνεργασία, τη φαντασία και τη χαρά της μάθησης.

Όπως ο ίδιος λέει, "Από όλους τους ρόλους μου αγαπώ αυτούς του μαθητή και του δασκάλου". Και πράγματι λίγα χρόνια μετά ο Γιάννης άρχισε να εργάζεται ως αναπληρωτής καθηγητής γεμίζοντας αγάπη για τη μάθηση σε χιλιάδες μαθητές και μαθήτριές του στο δημόσιο σχολείο.

Όταν ο Γιάννης βρέθηκε αντιμέτωπος με τον καρκίνο έγινε φωνή, παράδειγμα και παρακαταθήκη των συνασθενών του, μιλώντας ανοιχτά για την ασθένειά του. Έγραψε το βιβλίο "Τι πραγματικά αξίζει - 24 γράμματα στον γιο μου" που αποτελεί όπως λέει ο ίδιος "τη μαρτυρία μιας ζωής — ή έστω μισής" αποτυπώνοντας τις σκέψεις του, τις εμπειρίες του, την αγάπη, τη θλίψη και το φως του, μαζί με όλα όσα πίστευε πως πραγματικά αξίζουν.

Ο Γιάννης, ήταν πατέρας, σύζυγος, αδερφός, γιος, σύντροφος, συγγραφέας, μουσικός, δάσκαλος, μαθητής, ασθενής και τόσοι ακόμα ρόλοι... Ήταν όμως και ένας βαθιά πολιτικός, κοινωνικός άνθρωπος, με την ουσιαστική έννοια της λέξης: Κάποιος που πονούσε για τον κόσμο και μαζί του, που δεν αδιαφορούσε για τον πόνο των άλλων, που έβλεπε τη μοίρα του ανθρώπου ως κοινή υπόθεση.

Για αυτό άλλωστε μέσα από τη δύναμη και την αλληλεγγύη που ένιωσε με την έκδοση του βιβλίου του εμπνεύστηκε τον οργανισμό Βιβλιοχάρισμα που στοχεύει στην υποστήριξη ατόμων και συλλογικοτήτων μέσα από βιβλία και δράσεις γύρω από αυτά.

Τη Μ. Δευτέρα, 6/4/26 ώρα 11.00 Ι.Ν. Αγ. Θεοδώρων, Α' Κοιμητηρίου Αθηνών αποχαιρετούμε με θλίψη τον Γιάννη Μπρούζο.

Επιθυμία της οικογένειας, αντί στεφάνων, είναι όσοι και όσες το επιθυμούν να καταθέσουν χρηματικό ποσό στον λογαριασμό του, προς ενίσχυση των σκοπών του οργανισμού «Βιβλιοχάρισμα», που αποτέλεσε δική του έμπνευση και προσφορά ώστε να συνεχιστεί το έργο του για την υποστήριξη συνασθενών του που δίνουν το δικό τους αγώνα.

What is "One World"? Version: Psychology Clinic!

An Eramus+ KA1 project co-funded by the European Union, where our volunteers were able to visit and discuss with support experts at Clinica Psiho One, a private Clinic where Psychologists and therapists offer support to a wide variety of cases, including persons with Intellectual Disability or similar conditions.

This activity was part of the experiential course "Strategies to optimize learning for people with Intellectual Disabilities" organized by Asociatia Share Education on in Arad, Romania.

During this meeting, the participants were able to discuss with experts on strategies and methodologies to explain difficult topics to persons with such impairments, showing a variety of examples of tools and games that are used, depending on the level of the persons involved. More often than not, Adults with intellectual disability are grown ups whose mind and cognitive functions have not developed beyond a specific stage; often that of a 4-year, 6-year, or maybe older child. During the meeting the participants were able to understand the different levels targetted by their games, and the adaptability and attractability functions they should incorporate into their designs.

What is "One World"? Version: Public Infrastructure!

An Eramus+ KA1 project co-funded by the European Union, where our volunteers got the opportunity to learn more about the needs of persons with Intellectual Disability from psychologits, special educators, counselors in CJRAE Arad, the county's public body "Center for Resources and Educational Assistance".

This activity was part of the experiential course "Strategies to optimize learning for people with Intellectual Disabilities" organized by Asociatia Share Education in Arad, Romania.

Our participants had the opportunity to understand the infrastructure set in place to support special learning needs and the committees formed and processes follwed to that function. As ID and other learning diffiulties are evident since the beginning of a person's life, we had the opportunity to observe the early mechanisms of understanding and support from the county's experts, seeing them in action, as well as discussing tools used. Using that information, applications and initial ideas of game-tools were discussed.

An Eramus+ KA1 project co-funded by the European Union, where our participants had the chance to interact and learn from people who organize activities for persons with intellectual disability, integrating them with other societal groups. Our participants were able to discuss with trainers, accompanying persons, volunteers who have daily communication and interactions with people with Intellectual Disability.

This activity was part of the experiential course "Strategies to optimize learning for people with Intellectual Disabilities" organized by Asociatia Share Education in Arad, Romania. Our participants met with persons from various organizations, primarily Integra Arad Ong with whose wards we spend a lot of time together.

During this activity, various discussions took place and the participants had the chance to ask questions on the topic of Intellectual Disability related to board games and receive experiential answers and advice to be used during the next days.

Με μεγάλη χαρά συμμετέχουμε στο Μαθητικό Φεστιβάλ Οικολογικών Σχολείων της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Προστασία της Φύσης (Ελληνική Εταιρία Προστασίας της Φύσης) - μια ξεχωριστή διοργάνωση αφιερωμένη στην περιβαλλοντική εκπαίδευση και δράση, με τη συμμετοχή εκατοντάδων σχολείων από όλη την Ελλάδα.

After months of design, testing, playtesting, and refinement, the GreenChef board game is ready to be used as an educational tool in classrooms, workshops, and VET settings.

🧑‍🍳🎲 GreenChef combines board-game mechanics with learning about:
🌱 sustainable cooking
🥕 plant-based ingredients
🌍 the environmental impact of food choices

At Dracon Rules Design Studio, we focused on making learning hands-on, engaging, and discussion-driven — turning sustainability into something you can play, explore, and talk about.

The game was developed within the Erasmus+ GreenChef project, in collaboration with partners from 🇭🇺 Hungary, 🇧🇬 Bulgaria, and 🇬🇷 Greece, and is designed to support educators, trainers, and learners alike.
