❌ According to the World Cancer Research Fund, only the food groups alcoholic drinks & processed meats have CONVINCING evidence linking them to certain cancers.

🍬 On the other hand, while it is true that consistently eating too much sugar can lead to weight gain and obesity, increasing the risk of certain types of cancer, there's no clear proof that sugar directly causes cancer.

That said, while it is true that certain foods may be linked to increased risk, it's vital to remember that the real danger lies in unhealthy eating patterns over time!

Instead of focusing on single foods, it's important to prioritise a balanced, varied diet rich in fruits, vegs, pulses & whole grains, be active and maintain a healthy lifestyle (e.g., enough sleep & low stress) to reduce cancer risk and promote overall well-being.
