This International Museum Day, we’re celebrating the spaces where access becomes participation.

Over the past 5 years, Off Stream has collaborated with more than 20 museums across Greece, working to make cultural experiences more inclusive and accessible.

Through our work, we’ve supported people with disabilities in engaging with museums, sometimes for the very first time!

Because museums should not be spaces for some. They should be spaces for everyone!

Αυτή τη Διεθνή Ημέρα Μουσείων, γιορτάζουμε τους χώρους όπου η πρόσβαση ανοίγει τον δρόμο για ουσιαστική συμμετοχή.

Εδώ και 5 χρόνια, η Off Stream έχει συνεργαστεί με περισσότερα από 20 μουσεία σε όλη την Ελλάδα, με στόχο να κάνει τις πολιτιστικές εμπειρίες πιο συμπεριληπτικές και προσβάσιμες.

Μέσα από το έργο μας, έχουμε υποστηρίξει άτομα με αναπηρία να βιώσουν τους μουσειακούς χώρους, κάποιες φορές για πρώτη φορά!

Γιατί τα μουσεία δεν πρέπει να είναι χώροι για λίγους. Πρέπει να είναι χώροι για όλους.

Στις 8 Απριλίου, στο πλαίσιο του φόρουμ του ανεξάρτητου ευρωπαϊκού δικτύου Reset!, υλοποιήσαμε το εργαστήριο «Do you read me? How cultural information can be equally addressed to all».

Το εργαστήριο εστίασε σε πρακτικά εργαλεία και μεθοδολογίες για την ανάπτυξη προσβάσιμης και κοινωνικά υπεύθυνης ψηφιακής επικοινωνίας για άτομα με αισθητηριακές αναπηρίες, με επίκεντρο πολιτιστικούς οργανισμούς και οργανώσεις της κοινωνίας των πολιτών.

Το Reset! Forum υλοποιήθηκε σε συνεργασία με το δίκτυο Culture for Change.

On April 8, as part of the Forum of the independent European network Reset!, we delivered the workshop “Do you read me? How cultural information can be equally addressed to all”.

The workshop focused on practical tools and methodologies for developing accessible and socially responsible digital communication for people with sensory disabilities, aimed at cultural organisations and civil society organisations.

The Reset! Forum was organised in collaboration with the Culture for Change network.

Στις 25 Μαρτίου συμμετείχαμε στο SITEM 2026, την 30ή Διεθνή Έκθεση Μουσείων, Μνημείων και Πολιτιστικού Τουρισμού στο Παρίσι, στο πάνελ συζήτησης “From accessibility to shared cultural experience: how to design mediation tools with and for all audiences?” που διοργάνωσε το Art Explora. Παρουσιάσαμε τα Σημεία Συνάντησης και την ευρύτερη πρακτική μας γύρω από τη συμπερίληψη και τη συμμετοχική πολιτιστική εμπειρία, ενώ είχαμε την ευκαιρία να ανταλλάξουμε σκέψεις και προβληματισμούς με το κοινό. Στο πάνελ συμμετείχαν επίσης εκπρόσωποι των Thames Festival Trust, Art Explora και ειδικοί στον ψηφιακό σχεδιασμό και την ψηφιακή προσβασιμότητα.

On March 25, we participated in SITEM 2026, the 30th International Museum, Heritage & Cultural Tourism Fair in Paris, in the panel discussion “From accessibility to shared cultural experience: how to design mediation tools with and for all audiences?” organized by Art Explora. We presented Meeting Points and our broader practice around inclusion and participatory cultural experiences, while also having the opportunity to exchange thoughts and reflections with the audience. The panel also featured representatives from Thames Festival Trust, Art Explora, as well as experts in digital design and digital accessibility.

📣Με χαρά σας προσκαλούμε στην παρουσίαση της έντυπης μελέτης «Αισθήσεις σε Διάλογο: Μια Συμμετοχική Προσέγγιση Προσβασιμότητας της Συλλογής του ΙΜΜΑ», στη Διεθνή Έκθεση Βιβλίου Θεσσαλονίκης.

Η μελέτη υλοποιήθηκε από το ΙΜΜΑ σε συνεργασία με την Off Stream και προέκυψε μέσα από μια συμμετοχική διαδικασία που έφερε σε διάλογο διαφορετικές εμπειρίες και τρόπους αντίληψης, διερευνώντας πώς η πρόσβαση στον πολιτισμό μπορεί να γίνει πιο συμπεριληπτική, ανοιχτή και πολυαισθητηριακή.

🎭 Για το 5ο και τελευταίο Σημείο Συνάντησης του Studios Edition βρεθήκαμε στο στούντιο της LLoxy, όπου μέσα από συζήτηση, μουσική και ενεργοποίηση διαφορετικών αισθήσεων, γνωρίσαμε το έργο της «Όπερα» και γίναμε για λίγο μέρος του μαγικού εικαστικού της σύμπαντος.

Ένα θερμό ευχαριστώ στη LLoxy για τη φιλοξενία και τη μοναδική εμπειρία που μας χάρισε, στην Eleni Dimopoulou και τον Richard Lucas καθώς και σε όλα τα συμμετέχοντα άτομα για την υπέροχη συζήτηση και την παρουσία τους.

🎭 For the 5th and final Meeting Point of the Studios Edition, we gathered at LLoxy’s studio, where through conversation, music, and the activation of different senses, we explored her work “Opera” and became, for a while, part of her magical artistic universe.

We warmly thank LLoxy for her hospitality and for the unique experience she shared with us, to Eleni Dimopoulou and Richard Lucas, as well as all participants for the wonderful discussion and their presence.

🛸 Στο 4ο Σημείο Συνάντησης βρεθήκαμε στο στούντιο της Μαρίνας Βελησιώτη, όπου μέσα από συζήτηση μαζί της και ενεργοποιώντας διαφορετικές αισθήσεις, ανακαλύψαμε το έργο της Suddenly there is a valley και την γενικότερη πρακτική της.

👣 Στο 3ο Σημείο Συνάντησης βρεθήκαμε στο στούντιο του γλύπτη Αργύρη Ραλλιά, όπου προσεγγίσαμε το έργο του «Η τελευταία βουτιά» μέσα από διαφορετικές αισθήσεις και μάθαμε περισσότερα για την εικαστική του πρακτική.
