The challenges go beyond medical care. Unequal access to diagnosis, treatment, and support systems leaves many without the care they need, while stigma and misunderstanding add invisible burdens. Lasting solutions depend on placing people living with Parkinson’s at the center of care, research, and advocacy. Listening to their experiences, valuing their voices, and designing inclusive support systems can transform outcomes at scale.

This 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, PharOS proudly joins forces with the parents of Φάσμα Αγάπης (𝗙𝗮𝘀𝗺𝗮-𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘀) in a special volunteering basketball game — a celebration of inclusion, unity, and shared humanity.

As highlighted in the UN Secretary-General’s 2026 message, autistic people bring talents, perspectives, and contributions that make our world better. Yet, in challenging times, inclusion cannot be taken for granted — it must be actively championed.

Through initiatives like this, we stand for:

✔ A more inclusive and compassionate society

The global water crisis amplifies inequality, with women and girls facing the greatest challenges where safe water and sanitation are lacking. Lasting solutions depend on placing them at the center of water governance and designing systems that are climate resilient and responsive to all. A rights-based approach that recognizes women’s leadership and agency can shift outcomes at scale. When women have equal influence in decisions, water becomes a catalyst for inclusion, sustainability, and shared prosperity.

Today reminds us that gender equality is not just a women’s issue - it is a global challenge shaped by our systems, societies, and access to justice.

We celebrate women everywhere - not just in specific roles, but in every part of life. Women - apart from their family roles - are:

-Innovators and scientists
-Community builders and caregivers
-Creators and storytellers
-Leaders driving change, locally and globally
-Educators, mentors, and role models

Yet millions of women and girls face barriers every day: from legal systems that fail them, to lack of access to courts, legal aid, or protection in conflict zones. Without justice, rights remain only words. This International Women’s Day, the message is clear: 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀. 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲. 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

• Stand up for women’s rights.
• Demand legal systems that protect all women and girls, while challenging biases that limit opportunities based on age or appearance.
• Support movements that turn equality into real, tangible change.

We are proud to have successfully completed one more volunteer blood donation initiative and for the first time in collaboration with Bloode! This time, our efforts took on new meaning as we invited not only our employees, but also the Bloode community to join us in support of patients at the Anticancer Hospital “Agios Savvas.”

A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer donor who contributed to this life-saving initiative. Your generosity is truly invaluable, offering hope and strength to patients in need. 💖

We are also deeply grateful to the dedicated Bloode community members who joined hands with us. Together, we have shown the power of community to make a meaningful impact. 🤝

🌊🌿 Our team at PharOS Malta recently rolled up our sleeves and took to the shore for a beach clean-up event! 🚮💪

It was an incredible day of teamwork and environmental stewardship as we collected and removed 195kgs of debris, ensuring our beautiful coastline remains pristine for everyone to enjoy. This initiative not only strengthened our bonds but also reinforced our commitment to sustainability and community engagement. A huge thank you to all our dedicated volunteers for making a positive impact! Together, we're making a difference, one wave at a time. 🌟🌊
