🩺 On 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, we are reminded that prevention, awareness, and early action can save lives.
Often called the “silent killer,” hypertension affects over a billion people worldwide, with many unaware of their condition until serious complications arise. Limited access to screening, treatment, and long-term care continues to put millions at risk.
This year’s focus on “𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿” highlights the importance of collective action: from regular blood pressure checks and healthier lifestyles to stronger health systems and equitable access to care.
Awareness and early detection are key to building healthier communities for all.
