Ο μεγάλος Έλληνας προσωκρατικός φιλόσοφος που έζησε τον τον 6ο αιώνα πΧ μας υπενθυμίζει ότι «δεν μπορείς να μπεις δυο φορές στον ίδιο ποταμό» επειδή ανά πάσα στιγμή ο ποταμός αλλάζει, άρα ποτέ δεν είναι ο ίδιος ποταμός.
Επίσης υποστήριζε ότι η πρωταρχική ουσία στον κόσμο είναι η ενέργεια

Πάνω σε αυτή λοιπόν την φιλοσοφία βασίστηκε το ‘ΠΑΝΤΑ Ρ

ΕΙ’ όπου εμπνεύστηκε από τον μεγάλο δάσκαλο της ιατρικής Ιπποκράτη ο οποίος δίδαξε την θεραπευτική μάλαξη.(μασάζ-massage-από το ρήμα ‘μάσω’ παρέχω χειρισμούς με τα χέρια ζυμώνω.

Οι αρχαίες ελληνικές ανατρίψεις λάμβαναν χώρα στην αρχαία Ελλάδα και συγκεκριμένα σε σχολεία πάλης, γυμνάσια σε ασκληπιεία.
