Το Ινστιτούτο Δημόσιας Υγείας του Αμερικανικού Κολλεγίου Ελλάδος, που ιδρύθηκε τον Ιανουάριο του 2016, έχει ως σκοπό την ανάπτυξη επιστημονικών, ερευνητικών και εκπαιδευτικών δραστηριοτήτων στον τομέα της Δημόσιας Υγείας, την υποστήριξη της πρωτοβουλίας SmokefreeGreece καθώς και όλων των δραστηριοτήτων που υλοποιούνται από το Ερευνητικό Εργαστήριο George D. H δραστηριότητα του Ινστιτούτου Δημόσι

ας Υγείας βασίζεται σε πρόγραμμα που ξεκίνησε το 2010 από το Ίδρυμα Μπεχράκη σε συνεργασία με τη Σχολή Δημόσιας Υγείας του Πανεπιστημίου Harvard υπό την καθοδήγηση και διεύθυνση του Καθηγητή κ. Παναγιώτη Μπεχράκη. Η ίδρυση και η λειτουργία του Ινστιτούτου Δημόσιας Υγείας έχει γίνει με την ευγενική χορηγία και συνεχή οικονομική στήριξη του Ιδρύματος Μπεχράκη που εδρεύει στη Βοστώνη, ΗΠΑ

The Institute of Public Health (IPH) was established at the American College of Greece as of January 2016, with the purpose to develop scientific research and educational activities in the field of Public Health.

IPH, in alliance with the George D. Behrakis Research Lab of the Hellenic Cancer Society, supports SMOKEFREEGREECE, an initiative for To***co Prevention in Greece.

The Institute of Public Health- ACG builds on a program that had begun in 2010 by the Behrakis Foundation, through a collaboration between the Harvard School of Public Health and the Hellenic Cancer Society, under the operating direction of Professor Panagiotis Behrakis.

The IPH aims to advance Public Health through the development of scientific research and educational programs and to increase public awareness on common diseases and emerging public health issues.
