At Aistoleo Awards that took place on the island of Aigina on June 27th 2025, were never just about High Phenolic EVOO (HPEVOO). We know from ancient times that olive oil is much more than a food and much more than a medicine. It is a cultural identity that binds people to the place, the time, and to each otter for better, or for worse. It is this aspect of HPEVOO that has always intrigued me personally. This is what Aristoleo is all about.
This year we had some fantastic olive oils not only from Greece. but also from Slovenia, Croatia and. Spain.
We have also created an Aristotle App to be released soon that will help anyone interested in certified HPEVOs. to buy with confidence and meet the producers.
We were also happy to witness a terrific dancer who came with musicians to participate.

We are overjoyed to announce this year's Aristoleo Awards for the month of February.
We will be announcing results every month of the year. This year we expect to have entries from the Southern Hemisphere.
I will be travelling to South America to meet the olive growers and inspect their facilities.
Today we announce that all the Aristoleo Awards Winners have also been certified by Aristoleo Certification as we track and analyze the whole journey of the olive from the tree to the olive oil in your hands.

Aristoleo Awards 10th Anniversary 2025.
Results for February are in and they are spectacular. The olive growers keep increasing the concentrations of phenolic compounds specific for the EU Health Claim for Polyphenols. I love seeing their competitive spirit push them to achieve what most people thought was impossible. They have reached almost 5 grams of the Phenolic compounds which represent 20 times more than the minimum requirement, needed to qualify for the health claim which is 250mg per kg
