Η MOSCOT ξεκίνησε το 1899 από τον Hyman Moscot, ο οποίος πωλούσε έτοιμα γυαλιά από ένα καρότσι στην Lower East Side της Νέας Υόρκης.

Πρόκειται για μια οικογενειακή επιχείρηση που σήμερα διοικείται από την τέταρτη και πέμπτη γενιά Moscot.

Οι σκελετοί σχεδιάζονται με έμπνευση από αρχειακά μοντέλα των δεκαετιών 1930–1980, διατηρώντας αυθεντικές λεπτομέρειες σε σύγχρονη κατασκευή.

Πρόκειται για γυαλιά εξαιρετικής ποιότητας με έναν "old-fashioned" αέρα.
