Μοιράζομαι μαζί σας ένα περιστατικό με μετεγχειρητική επίσχεση ούρων, το οποίο έκανε αναγκαία τη διατήρηση του ουροκαθετηρα για 1 μήνα μετεγχειρητικά, και συζητώ τη σημασία διατήρησης των κάτω υπογάστριου νευρικού πλέγματος (nerve-sparing approach) σε αυτά τα περιστατικά.

Do all Superficial Endometriosis lesions look the same?

The answer is... NO!

In the same patient with primary complaint of infertility, you can note the co-existence of subtle (flame-like) lesions with typical lesions, in close proximity.

✔️ Η #αδενομυωση είναι μια κοινή, καλοήθης νόσος της μήτρας, κατά την οποία ο ιστός που καλύπτει το εσωτερικό της μήτρας (ενδομήτριο) βρίσκεται μέσα στο μυϊκό τοίχωμα της μήτρας (μυομήτριο).

✔️Όταν προκαλεί συμπτώματα, χαρακτηρίζεται από βαριές κι επώδυνες περιόδους, ενώ σχετίζεται και με #υπογονιμότηταότητα.

✔️Το #αδενομύωμα αποτελεί τύπο της εστιακής αδενομύωσης. Μπορεί να είναι συμπαγές ή κυστικό.

✔️Η λαπαροσκοπική αφαίρεση του αδενομυώματος είναι εφικτή, αν και τεχνικά απαιτητική, και βελτιώνει τόσο τα συμπτώματα της ασθενούς όσο και τη γονιμότητα, σε επιλεγμένα περιστατικά.

📷Στις εικόνες, λαπαροσοπική αφαίρεση συμπαγούς αδενομυώματος και συρραφή της μήτρας σε 1 στρώμα.
